Handy little kneeling bench
I'm six months pregnant and kneeling on the ground, tending to my garden was getting painful, so I bought this kneeling bench a couple of weeks ago. It's great, it's sturdy, holds my weight well, although I'm only five feet and weigh 125 lbs. I use it for both sitting and kneeling. I love that once I'm done kneeling I can use the upside-down legs to push myself up to a standing position. It is a bit hard for me to squeeze the levers that fold up the bench as they are quite stiff. So I just leave it open and out in my garden. Hopefully it weather's well in the south Florida humidity. This would be 5 stars if not for the stiffness of the levers.

Pretty good
FINALLY, I purchased something to help me get down and (especially) up when I garden (bad arthritic hips). Product came quickly. Only complaint - the cushion is too hard, needs to be softer for my knees (they were really sore afterwards). But pretty good all in all. If this one breaks, however, I would look for one with a softer cushion to kneel on.

Works
Just received, took outside, used to pull weeds from my rock landscaping. Comfortable to kneel on and the handles are a great assist in getting back up . Rocks have already marred the paint. May need to add some hose, foam padding, or duct tape to protect. Looks like it will be a handy device for the garden.

Condition of merchandise
Had scratches and chipped paint so it looked like the product had been used before I received it. Very difficult to unfold the first few times I used it. I would choose another product the next time.

Handy and helpful
Because I need something to boost myself up from the floor, this is a great aid in the house, as well as it would be for gardening. I do wish that it were just a little higher...an inch or two more would be great.

Ideal for Older Gardener
Ordered as a gift for a 77 year old who likes to putter in her garden but is encountering mobility issues. The dual use as both a bench seat and as a "kneeler" was what originally caught my eye. The attractive price, combined with its immediate availability (as a Mother's Day gift) and the fact that it folds for easy use and storage are what made me place the order. The recipient was thrilled when it arrived. She tells me that the biggest plus is that, when used as a kneeler, the "legs" make it very easy to use her arms to help to stand up from the kneeling position. A perfect gift for her and anyone who has difficulty standing from a kneeling position. I'm going to order another for myself.

This is the second kneeling bench I have purchased from ...
This is the second kneeling bench I have purchased from this company. Both have broken after kneeling on them. I weight approximately 195 pounds and the inter plastic comb between the pads is not strong enough to hold me. It needs to be made out of something stronger than plastic.

GARDEN PALS Kneeling Bench/Folding Seat Kneeler.
The Garden Pals Kneeling Bench/Folding Seat Kneeler is just what I needed to use in my house to accomplish projects that require me to get closer to the floor. I don't fold it because I have arthritis developing in my hands and I can't manipulate the two buttons you need to move in order for the legs to fold in. But that's OK; I just stand it up close the the wall in my bedroom where it is easy to access when I want to use it (and I use it every day). The seat and kneeling pads are thick and substantial. The metal frame is strong and wide enough to be stable. It is light enough that I can easily handle it.
