Work good, fix my gun, save a lot of money vs buying new.

Replaced the piston on my hitachi after it bit the dust. This is still going absolutely fine with zero jams after doing a case of framing nails and another case of sheathing nails.

Fit perfectly, nail gun works like new. Would buy again.

I thought I would try this out since it was so much cheaper than an actual Hitachi made piston. It worked fine for about 2 months and then it sort of wore out b/c it no longer was a tight seal inside my gun. You could hear it flop back and forth b/c the seal wasnt tight enough to seal the air chamber. This led to it being super weak at driving nails. The force of the gun loses air pressure b/c the piston cant seal all the air in so air escapes and makes the gun weak. This also led to the driver being wobbly during nailing, which eventually caused the two screws on the front of the gun to shear off. I had to reverse tap the screws to get them out and replace them, and then it happened 3 more times! After I spent more on replacing screws than I saved on buying this terrible driver, I took it out of my gun and replaced it with a real one, and my gun works so much better now. Dont buy this, spend the extra money and save yourself a huge hassle.
