Easy to program, Small, compact, easy to pocket
I needed some small pocket sized remotes to go with our new opener. I hate that garage door companies don't make these as an option. These were both very easy to program and work well. They have a longer range too than our orig garage door opener too. I like that I can just keep this on my keychain. It's great for bike rides where I ride from my house. I can just keep this tiny opener in a pocket.

Keeps losing programing
It may be the sliding cover. When I took it out of my pocket, I noticed that the cover had slid down a bit. When I try using the control, I have to reprogram it. I like the small size and price. It is not hard to program on my 2 Genie's.

Garbage
The remotes worked great until it was time to replace the batteries. I found a screwdriver small enough to remove the tiny, eyeglasses-sized screws, only to find the metal bar holding the battery in place welded into the electronic board inside. There is no way to remove the battery without breaking the metal bar's connection to the board, which renders the remote inoperable. In short, this is complete garbage if you can't replace the battery

Good distance
It works from about 50 yards away. Easy to program. Convenient size would definitely recommend.

You CAN change the battery
I purchased one of these, quickly programmed it and it worked as expected right away. A small scrap of paper came with it and the fine print had instructions on how to change the battery. They obviously referred to a different model. I then went back to the product reviews and found one saying the battery could not be changed. Well, this was upsetting but happily, I found that it could be changed. Here’s how:Before you start, be sure your static electricity level is very low. Touch a metal water pipe, avoid scuffing your feet /hands on anything dry, etc. If you feel a zap while touching the circuit board it will probably be damaged. Only handle by the edges. I usually wear a grounded wrist strap whenever handling electronic stuff.Remove the 3 small screws from the back of the remote with a #0 Phillips head screwdriver. The front panel comes off easily, exposing the circuit board. The battery housing is soldered permanently to the board and acts as the positive terminal. The negative terminal is copper printed on the circuit board. Together they form a physical slot the battery slides into. The circuit board sits low in the body of the remote and is held there by the bright steel retainer that sits on the top edge of the body. So to slide the battery out, the retainer must be at least loosened on the bottom end so that the board can be slid out between the body and the retainer as shown. When you get the board free, simply push the old battery out of the housing from the upper left with a small screwdriver (do not scratch the board). To get the polarity right be sure you can see the printing on the new battery as you slide it in.Then put the board back in the body, put the front back on aligned with the retainer and the body, reinstall the 3 screws and you’re ready for testing.
