great fit, recommend getting pulleys as well because old pulley connectors worn and slip.

Easy to install but the belt was a little long, so I just used my old one and it's fine.Mows like a new mower.

Our John deere needs blades
Make sure you have the part number to order you could get the wrong thing these r perfect they went right in place six weeks still cutting great I like that you can get stuff and don't have to go anywhere but sometimes you might. Thanks

Bolted in perfect.
Replacing went well. All bolt holes lined up.

8Ten Kit for John Deere D170
The spindles are okay and mount easily. The kit came with 2 idler pulleys although the D170 has 3 but they don't typically go bad. The problem is the belt. I installed the kit according to the instructions from John Deere and the belt shredded in about 10 minutes of mowing. It is a very poorly made belt and the soft material got hot and just came apart. I will say that the blades the kit came with are decent.

quality product
I didn't have any issues with the parts. Make sure your grease fittings are tight. Its much easier to grease up everything before the installation. The parts appear to be of good quality and fit great.

I just gave them 3 stars but I was wrong. The nuts from the old spindles fit the new spindles.
I need to repair a 3 star review. It appeared that the nuts from the old spindles did not fit the new spindles. I called customer service and suggested they add the nuts to the kit. I was wrong. The Kit works well!

kit didnt come with correct amount of pulleys for my LA 175 like it said it would. also didnt come with the bolts for one of the spindles like the rest of the spindles did. the blades were wonky and bent slightly and overall im not impressed with this kit. its decent for the price but thats all. i had to use it because i was in a pinch and couldnt wait another week to mow customers lawn. 1 star is all because ive read the other reviews and didnt wanna believe it but the missing parts thing happened so.... yeah... bummer....
