Great for this price and general function
UPDATE: My previously mentioned movement in the outlet was because of my old outlets. I have also noticed that some of the protective covers for the photo sensor have just fallen out, but don't effect function for now.Great nightlight that is bright enough for a hallway or stairway. I wouldn't use it in my room, since it is pretty bright. It doesn't have a huge range for the brightness between all on and off, but it does dim as the light gets brighter in the room until fully off. It does allow for something else to be plugged into the other outlet, but not with a lot of wiggle room. Overall great nightlight for the price.

Tried three and all had defects.
Each of those tried would work if pressure was placed on the fixture but failed to make contact otherwise. Tried several different receptacles and yes I realize that these work only when there is no ambient light. There appeared to be a lack of contact to complete the electrical circuit somewhere inside the device.

great lights
We love these. They are in our hallways, bathrooms and even our son's nursery. They provide enough light to be helpful but not shockingly bright.

I’ve now got these suckers all over the house. No more tripping thru the night trying to get to the kitchen for a midnight snack!

To call these things garbage is a huge compliment. Five minutes or if the box and the first one is in two pieces. Don’t waste your money!!!
