These old stories are classic and great for the whole family.

The early tales of supergirl, before she was known to the she was a secret, to the world. Before she she had adopted parents, she had adventure as Linda and supergirl. She has discovers many things.

These stories seem too scattered. And it gets TOO silly for Linda (supergirl) Lee to drag out that she made a promise to her cousin Superman every issue. That would make for an interesting drama- the many reasons i never got to go on a date- or live like a normal human which I am not

The early stories are formulaic, and a bit horrifying as Superman condemns his cousin to live in an orphanage and reject all chances of adoption, while hiding her powers. But there's a few interesting adventures. Then, with the introduction of red kryptonite, Mr Mxyzptlk, and other silver age contrivences, things get, frankly, silly and wheel-spinny. Hopefully, with Supergirl finally going public, the next volume is better.
