The best steel of just about any knife on the market, good locking mechanism , strong pivot point.The problem is people buy a high carbon knife and don’t take care of it. You can get cheap stainless steel knives and the blade will always be shiny.This is a carbon blade. It carries a razor edge with sharpening and is strong without being brittle. But it will stain and rust.This doesn’t make it cheap or crap.. it makes it an actual knife that changes with use, easy to sharpen and tough.I also likes how flat it rides in your pocket..
