I love the cup, they're my favorite but description is deceiving. The temperature of the liquid has to be pretty much boiling for the effects to work. The second it starts cooling to even a tiny bit the entire cup changes back to normal so really effects don't last longer than a few minutes. I wouldn't buy it again
