I would hand wash this or put it in a bag to wash in the washing machine. It looks sturdy, but I'd be afraid of snagging if you wash other things with it.

It does have stretch, on both the cross and straight grain. It has a beautiful drape!

the fabric is one size is an adorable garment.

Q: Does the scollop edge go all the way around or just on two sides?

The scallop is just on the two longest sides. The other two sides won't ravel but they don't look pretty.
