12,000 BTU unit Works great on a 40 ft motorhome, energy efficient enough for solar!
I’m very impressed with this minisplit, I installed it on my motorhome after a tornado damaged the rooftop AC. On the initial start, it was 85 outside and about 90 inside, brought the inside temperature down to 68 in just under an hour.On the first boot, it drew 900 watts until it was down to about 75 degrees, then it drew about 700 watts until it was down to 68 (set temp.) At 68, it floats between 200-600 watts, averaging about 300 watts used per hour.My 500 watt solar array in direct sunlight runs it without issues and even charges the battery bank slightly during the brightest parts of the day.Installation was straight forward, I have some residential electrical experience, some automotive experience and 0 hvac experience and I got it installed in about 5 hours. The included instructions aren’t the best, but YouTube gave me pretty much all the information I needed to get it done.Overall, 10/10 it was way better in every way than I expected and works well in a motorhome application! Just one thing to note, I just tied this to the breaker my old rooftop AC used which was 30 amps. I expected this to use a similar amount of power with similar wires, but because it uses such little power and uses such thin wire I replaced it with a 15 amp breaker, and you should too! If there’s a short somewhere, the included wires certainly wouldn’t pass enough current to trip a 30 amp breaker. This is a significant upgrade to the rooftop AC, and the one i had was pretty new and an efficient model

Works great and quiet
Easy to install if you have a vacuum pump and gauge set, saw a review of someone not happy they had to hire an HVAC guy to install it, they should pay more attention to the item description. Just vacuum the line, I used the blue thread sealant and turned on, works perfectly and is quiet. I bought another one for another room. I don't know about the heat function as I live in the Caribbean but cools well.

Works great!
My husband has been looking for something for years to use in his workshop to heat and cool. We had an industrial type heater and window ac unit and did they ever take a long time time to work. Also not energy efficient. My husband is in love with this unit. It’s so quiet, and takes about 15 minutes to heat to the point where he takes his jacket off. Haven’t gotten an electric bill yet but I know it can’t be much as fast as this thing starts working. He used to have to turn the other heater on a few hours before going into shop but not now!

Quite
This was a little difficult to install. You will need a licensed professional to install. The unit works great. I have yet to see if it effects my power bill.

Problems with unit and customer service
I purchased this unit for our main heating and cooling source. When it arrived, the box had been damaged on the bottom. It was not packaged well. The cord was sticking out.It seemed okay and we had a professional HVAC technician set it up. We were having 100 degree temperatures and the heat function could not be tested at the time because it will not turn on unless it is cooler temperatures. The a/c worked fine. But now that it is cold weather we found out the heat is not working. And after 10 emails with the company they are still not helping us. The HVAC technician has been out to fix it twice. He says the outside unit is not communicating with the inside unit properly. And needs the ODU PCB part replaced. Rovsun does not carry parts. And we cannot find another part to fit our unit. The Rovsun customer support says that our power must not be set up to 230V. But it is. Our house was built 6 months ago and the power is set up correctly and specifically for this unit. The unit is still under warranty and I even purchased an extra warranty. But I’m 10 emails (they do not supply a phone number) of communication with their company in China, and I’m getting the runaround and they are saying my power is the problem. I’m not sure how I will get this resolved. Please buy with caution.

So Far So Good
Had read the if you get a unit that is does not have "pre-vacuumed lines" and you do it yourself you save a lot of money. I was intimated by the idea, but thought I'd tried it. Turned out, vacumming a AC line, with tons of Youtube videos to guide you, is super easy. I have this unit in a detached studio space, and it's worked flawlessly so far. Not a long term testimony, but so far, so good. And far easier to install than I expected. (Note: I'd rank my "handyman" skills as above average. May not be for a novice to try to install.). For me a simple and very rewarding experience by saving tons of money.

Very quiet
Love it! Did the install myself and live it. Every instruction was accurate, I did use online video to confirm each step. You will need to rent or buy a vacuum to properly evacuate the system. You will asking need an hvac adapter for that vacuum.
