So I bought the one pack first. The fact that I then proceeded to purchase the four pack shows how much I love these repellents. They do increase insects in the beginning because I think it brings the insects out and away. Like other reviewers said, it does not help with flies but it got rid of those icky, pesky centipede things and spiders. Anything that takes these two insects away is a big, big, BIG plus for me.
