I purchased the Uperefect 14-inch 2K Portable Monitor (Model J314) mainly as a second screen to use alongside my 14-inch MacBook Pro — and I am very happy with the choice. The 2K resolution is excellent; text and images are crisp and almost identical in quality to my MacBook Pro’s display. The 3:2 aspect ratio is perfect for office and productivity work, giving more vertical space for documents and spreadsheets. What I like most is that the size and outer dimensions are nearly the same as my MacBook, so both easily fit in the same compact carry case. As an IT support professional, portability is very important to me, and this monitor fits that need perfectly. The lightweight design makes it easy to carry without adding bulk. Pros: • Superb LCD quality with sharp colors and good brightness. • Ideal 3:2 aspect ratio for productivity and office use. • Works with a single USB-C/Thunderbolt cable — no need for an external adapter. • Dual USB-C ports allow power and display connectivity simultaneously. • Excellent and responsive customer support — I received a detailed reply to my queries very quickly. Cons: • The included carry case could be improved; it feels a bit basic compared to the monitor’s quality. Overall, a great 2K portable monitor that complements my MacBook Pro perfectly. I would like to share my impressions on this device. It is definitely worth its money with some small remarks on it. 1st one it is not nearly as good as MacBook display of any year for sure. It is a middle range gaming display with a freesync option on board. Of course it will elevate your gaming experience if you previously used small display on handheld. HDR is not working properly. Resolution scaling (image sharpening) is not recognised by Mac, need to use a better display program for scaling. But it is good for gaming. And more one thing, it has white spots on retina. When the picture is black, you can see white spots all over the surface. Not a best assembly.

Its is perfect for travel.. nice product for the one needed extra monitor, carrying everyday and just using USB C cable and no need of any additional power and extra video cable which is really good. The case cover is good for the price

Just bought this a few days ago and used it in conjunction with my iPad mini today. Very easy to set up and works with relative ease either via a USB c or HDMI connection. Screen quality is good, clarity is good with no distortion. Used power block to power screen but it works readily off the mains too. All in all a good purchase and invaluable working remotely or when travelling

Very goods single screen light weight, recommend for traveling.

Unfortunately, the product I received did not match the specs or images on the Amazon product page. Instead of a mini HDMI port, it had a full-sized HDMI port, which didn’t work for my setup. The stand and port placement were also different from the pictures, and the packaging seemed generic, with only a small label indicating it was from UPerfect. Disappointed, I had to return it. That said, I previously bought the 16-inch version, which is really good, great screen, works great, so my experience with the brand is mixed.

I have a five year old gaming laptop that I still carry around with me for video games on the go. The screen on the laptop is 1080p and I have been spoiled recently with 1440p 60 fps. I made the decision to look for a smaller portable 1440p monitor that will fit in my laptop bag. I already have a 16 inch 1440p UPERFECT portable monitor for couch gaming and I love it. Why not see if UPERFECT has a smaller monitor that fits what I'm looking for? Spoiler alert: They do! Design and Build Quality: The build quality feels sturdy and durable. The menu buttons have a nice click to them. The ports are all snug and hold the cable inputs firmly. The monitor is slim, modern, and minimalistic. This monitor fits well in my laptop bag with room to spare. The included smart cover doubles as a stand and a screen protector when not in use. The monitor itself weighs a tad over a pound and is only 0.3 inches thick. The integrated speakers offer decent sound quality for casual use. I love the inclusion of a headphone jack for discrete gaming! Display Performance: This monitor is an impressive upgrade over my laptop's screen. The 2160 x 1440 screen delivers crisp details and vivid colors. This monitor offers color sliders for tweaking and HDR for games that support it. I am unsure what flavor of HDR this monitor uses though. There is a built-in blue light filter that reduces eye strain. Connectivity and Compatibility: This monitor is equipped with two USB-C ports, a Mini HDMI port, a Micro-USB OTG port, and a headphone jack. Versatile for use with various devices such as laptops, smartphones, and gaming consoles. I have connected this monitor to a Windows laptop and a PS4 without issue. The manual states that it can be connected to MacOS and Android devices as well. Two USB-C to USB-C cables, one Mini HDMI to HDMI cable, and one USB-C power adapter are also included in the box. Overall Impressions: For $78*, you cannot go wrong with this monitor! 1440p, 60 Hz, and small enough to go anywhere makes this an extremely versatile option that is easy on your wallet. The combination of excellent display quality, sleek design, and ease of use makes this monitor a worthwhile investment for gamers and mobile professionals. *The price at the time of purchase was $98 with a $20 off coupon bringing the total to $78.

Had one small hiccup with the order - ordered new but received a clearly used monitor, Not the fault of the seller but moreso the Amazon Warehouse. Got in touch with their after-saless support and had a 50% refund promptly. No hard questions, no accusing, nothing. Just sent them some photos of the packaging and the item, and they responded pack promptly and sent the refund. The product itself, aside from clearly being used, is awesome. The color balance is nice, the image is sharp, and it's light and easy to transport. Would highly recommend, not just for the product, but for the after-sales support as well!

The monitor works great and meets my expectations in terms of resolution and clarity. What I like with Uperfect monitors are the various different cables they provide to enable seamless connection with the laptop. I would also to commend their excellent and responsive customer service team regarding support for their monitors. My previous Uperfect monitor had issues and they provided 1-to-1 exchange with a new set. Email exchanges were promptly responded to. I would certainly recommend Uperfect monitors.

TIP for people using it as a second monitor to a late 2015 imac; the cord you need is a 🔺 mini display to HDMI🔺. Mine was like $40 CA, Insignia brand, got it at Best Buy. Plug the included power adapter and power cord in, plug the mini display end of the adaptor cord into one of the Thunderbolt 2 inputs, and plug the HDMI end into the monitor. It turns out that according to Apple, Thunderbolt 2 and mini display, while not exactly the same, work exactly the same for this use. I have found HDMI inputs generally a little fussy, you might need to wiggle it a bit, but this awesome little monitor fired right up. Would def buy again.
