These Aqua/Pink iridescent bags are beautiful, but delicate/thin (the slightest bump or squish wrinkles them), although they are well made and sturdy. They have black glossy cardboard inserts for the bottom which make them sturdier, able to sit flat and hold more/heavier things--this was a nice touch and appreciated. The handles are flat and fall inside or behind the bag, they do not sit straight up as shown in the product image. They're shiny and gorgeous in person, perfect for an 80's themed roller skating birthday party and everyone ooh'ed and ahh'ed at the shimmering bags. Even though we measured them out, they were larger than expected and we had to purchase extra items to fill them, so be prepared for that. They're large enough to fit three or more hardcover books. (We used Cape Cod potato chips, organic gummy bags, sparkly hair clips, mini stress-balls to fill the extra space, along with Sour Flush toilet lollipops, sour candy pens, an Etsy bracelet, skating stickers and tattoos, Expressions sparkly lip gloss wands, skating pins, etc. plus a roller skate keychain on the outside handle of the bag. You're welcome, moms. LOL) Due to their delicate nature, I couldn't put them all in one big bag to carry, I had to separate them into several so they wouldn't squish each other and show creases or dents. Although they were sturdy enough to stack atop each other, sideways. Moms loved and appreciated the fact that they're reusable. Overall, for the sheer wow factor, worth it--just be ready to fill these puppies!

You can use them for heavier objects if you need to. The bags are almost a gift in itself because the presentation of the gift looks fabulous and they can be used over and over again, they are that high of quality. I am really happy with my purchase. Edited: I have changed my review and star rating from 1 star to 5 stars, as the company corrected the error by sending me the Christmas bags and shipped them to me quickly so I received them before Christmas.Not impressed that I did NOT receive the Christmas bags which I had ordered, instead I received some recliner slipcover. I paid a lot of money for the Christmas bags, assuming it was price gouging due to Christmas, but to take so long to arrive, and then to receive the wrong item, I am less than impressed.I had ordered some Nush Nush bags previously and liked them and the fact that they were reusable, so I thought that they would be great for Christmas gifts.. Most of the Nush Nush bags are on Amazon Prime but the Christmas bags are not.

I would consider buying them, but not at the expensive price. They are nice, but please these are gift bags. should consider if you buy 2 sets lower costs type of deals....

They are really versatile and look great. Not sure the handles can carry much weight but the bags themselves are amazing.
