nice addition to spice collection
Watching Giada on Food Network...she used this in a recipe (Pretzel crusted chicken fingers with curry ketchup). I thought I would get this pollen since I use fennel a lot and it would be an interesting addition to my spices. It beats crushing fennel although I also use regular fennel as I always have. It is just a nice thing to have and works well with this particular recipe as well as for my sauces.

Hard to believe this is pollen.Seems much too course to be pollen.

Delicate taste
My wife used a very small amount of this stuff in mashed potatoes and it gave them a subtlety sweet, delicate flavor.We saw a chef on a show about cooking use fennel pollen and were curious about it.
