For the price these are almost as good as designer frames. This is my 3rd pair in this style. Can't beat them for the price.

I had an identical pair for years but dropped them (probably a multitude of times) and a piece chipped off the lens. I liked them so much I went in search of another pair. Voila! I’m wearing them now. Comfortable and lightweight. I would buy them again!

Have had this brand for years, but I needed to "upgrade" as my eyes need a stronger strength. I love them because you can position them a bit lower on your nose and look over them if necessary---I don't need them to see far away or to drive---just up close for reading or grocery shopping. Or picking berries. But not going up or down stairs. They're perfect for needing them when you need them.

I broke a pair of reading glasses on a trip and, during a stopover en route home, I wandered the airport trying to find reading glasses. In face, I walked from Gate 7 to Gate 82! Many shops along the way -- and finally about halfway there I spotted a newsstand that carried Foster Grants! I bought a pair and liked the so well that I bought three more pair from Amazon.I really like this pair the best of those I have purchased except for two things: one, this pair did not come with a case (all readers should come with cases because the lenses will scratch if you just throw them in your pocket or purse) and, two, I really wish that this particular style came in additional colors other than purple.I am one of those people who has purchased "drugstore" readers for as long as I can remember. What stands out about these Foster Grants is that vision is exceptionally clear (making me wonder how much I've been straining my eyes in the past!). I'm a Foster Grant reading glasses convert!Great value and great readers.

As soon as my wife put on the glasses the left ear piece came apart from the lens. We still haven't heard about replacement after Amazon sent in for a replacement. This is the 5th day.I do not recommend buying from this company. I was not aware Amazon will not honor defective items from one of their suppliers.

Hard to look over the rim. Need to pull of to look up when not need to see.
