I don't know if I got something different than other folks, because I don't see anyone mentioning that these boots are zip-up. They do a great job hiding the fact in every single photo and even now when I go back to look at the listing I have to admit that they LOOK like a good pair of boots and they LOOK like the ones that I was sent. But the one's I was sent FEEL like the cheapest boot or shoe for that matter, that I've ever had the misfortune of slipping my foot into. If these had been at a shoe store they wouldn't have come home with me. I'm by no means a vain person, I'm all function with form only an afterthought, and I've gotten even less concerned as I get older. I understand advertising and showing an item in its best light. I can excuse a fast food burger for not looking like the ads, but the fact that I didn't realize that these "work boots" were zipper up after seeing 10+ images is downright deceitful. And I cannot stand deceitful business practices. There's a saying that "the only business is repeat business". I guess a lot of companies don't subscribe to that theory. Normally I would just return the item, leave my thoughts in a review and be done with it, but as a reviewer I don't get the satisfaction of returning the item and I'm still on the hook for the estimated cash value. The other thing that I don't like are cheap tools, especially something like boots. Cheap boots aren't cheap, they just seem cheap. So this company pushed so many buttons for me, cheap, and deceitful and I am stuck with them. I apologize for the rant.
