CraftBud Mini Sewing Machine for Beginners, Adults and Kids Sewing Machine

I bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter and it works great.

My daughter 6yo loves using this for her little craft projects and I was also able to use it for small clothes repair and costume making. Perfect small sewing machine

I realize this was going to be on the rickety side , but I expected it to at least work. Maybe not A fancy double stitching, zig zag, button hole, write my name in calligraphy thread Or even go back wards . I did however, expect it to at least sew a single line. I hope you don't. I suppose it can be considered a "learning tool" in the sense that you can spend 5-6 hours repeatedly threading, adjusting tension, pulling knotted thread out of bobber area and many other troubles of sewing you may feel you need practice dealing with or learning. I'm not a stupid person. The machine is threaded correctly. It just cannot sew longer than a couple inches and it just quirks out. Besides thread breaking, tension issues causing loopy loose stitches, some how it actually rethreaded itself with the end of the long start I had. This will baffle me for ever. If sewing isn't your true objective. Unfortunately, mine was I was making my granddaughter a very simple pillowcase. This won't be for you. I could not complete it. I figure 3 days 4-6 hours every day trying to make the machine work, and it would, for 2-3 inches worth of sewing. Then, you get another 35 mins restringing the junk. So if you need a hard lesson with no reward on threading a machine then this is for you. The directions are clear. Except about the tension and Im sure that's where the issues lie. Personally, I'm going to enjoy putting this junk in to some sort of launching equipment and watch it smash to a million pieces. I suggest you spend 10 extra bucks and get something else. I'd ask for refund but I feel my 19 dollars would be better spent destroying the thing preventing someone else the aggravation and me relief from a seamstress rage. It did come with a selection of cheap thread. No hope there, I tried different thread as well.. Seriously, just buy something else.

This is definitely a beginner sewing machine. It's small, smaller than I originally thought but it does work for what I needed. It's kind of loud and the instructions for it aren't the best but there were YouTube videos by other users that walk you through it. Don't bother with the 'on/off' button unless you truly can't use the foot pedal, it's not useful. The thread cutter attached isnt great, the tiny scissors that come with aren't much better and the seam ripper didn't work for me. But as a cheap option for a smaller project, it worked.

Nice little machine for the price. Mine was delivered today and I already took in a dress. I didn't know I had that skill. Beginner here. It only has one stitch but that's all I need. Perfect for beginners imo or for anyone who wants to do a little sewing while traveling. It's very small and light weight.

Bought this for our 9yr old granddaughter for Christmas. This is the perfect machine to buy for a child that has an interest in learning to sew. It's user friendly and gives them the opportunity to learn the basics before buying them a more expensive machine. Our granddaughter made everyone pillows and was SO excited. It worked great with no issues.

This a very late review because we didn’t try using the sewing machine until yesterday. My 8 yr old daughter used all her Christmas money to buy this and was incredibly disappointed and sad she had wasted all her money. I loved that it came with so many sewing supplies, in fact that’s the only thing that was good about this purchase. Maybe I was expecting too much? It is incredibly light weight so whenever I went to lift the presser foot up the entire machine lifted up or fell over. For the foot pedal to reach the floor the machine has to be on the very edge of the table and even then it’s not all the way flat. Even after attempting to adjust the tension many times, it’s always too tight and frequently cause the thread to break. Threading it is also a joke. The last guide before the needle is at a near impossible angle to get the thread through. I will admit that I was surprised that the stitches were fairly even when we actually got it to sew. It was also set a good speed. Warning that if the machine on/off switch is on it sews by itself with out the foot pedal. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone of any age.

How am I supposed to plug the sewing machine? The charger you are providing is not suitable for UK standards and the label does not even mention the Input single voltage or dual voltage. I found this product in Amazon.co.uk and this is unacceptable this is not Clearly mentioned. Very disappointed

I’m happy with this little sewing machine! 🧵✨ It’s perfect for small repairs and simple projects. Very easy to use, even for beginners, and the dual speed is a nice touch. I also love how compact it is — super easy to store and put away when not in use. Great for quick fixes at home or even for travel. 🧶🪡💼

The foot pedal doesn’t reach the ground rendering it unusable. It does not accommodate a spool of thread (even though they sent many of them) It requires 2 bobbins instead. You must then spool the bobbin from the thread. Time waster. Loud. Low quality. Do not purchase.
