This Cover Fits The 2023 Mazda 3 Center Console Perfectly!
This plastic "Carbon Fiber" center console cover fits and looks great in the newer Mazda 3. We recently purchased a new 2023 Mazda 3 Hatchback Carbon Edition. We really like everything about the car except the dust, scratch, and fingerprint prone glossy black center console. We purchased this cover to go over the gloss black console, and it fits perfectly. I added more 3M double-sided mirror installation tape, in addition to the pre-installed tape on the console cover, for better adhesion. I then heated all of the tape with a heat gun, and placed the cover on the center console. I then pressed the cover into place using a microfiber cloth. The cover is stuck very well to the center console, and it looks awesome. The cover also does not interfere with the function of any of the buttons or dials on the center console. The best part, no more ugly gloss back center console now (except a small rectangle around the gear position indicator). We also have this exact style of center console cover in our 2019 Mazda CX-5 Signature, and it looks just as good. As you can probably tell, we really like Mazdas a lot, but they do need to change the piano black on the center consoles. Until then, I highly recommend this stylish center console cover to all newer Mazda 3 owners that want to cover that gloss black on the center console.

Poor fit (2025 Mazda3 4 door)
The media could not be loaded. Fit very poorly in my 2025 Mazda3 4 door select sport. The thin plastic strip between the gear shift and the volume knob is too thick, and blocks the buttons surrounding the radial infotainment knob. Either the cover is just hovering over the center console, not actually protecting anything, or it is secured snuggly but the poor fit means the buttons are also pressed in constantly. Whoever dimensioned this product did a very poor job.

FITMENT ISSUE - But worth the small adjustment needed.
Elevates the interior look from the highly scratch-prone black. Important to understand there’s a clearance issue where the piece does push down on the MUSIC button if not clearances. Just take sandpaper or file and carefully clearance a bit. Do this during your test fitting prior to removing the red sticker film. See pics for the area that’s affected. My 3-star rating doesn’t reflect the end result(that would be a 5), but rather the disappointing fact that this continues to be sold despite a well-documented fitment issue that can be resolved by the customer, but really shouldn’t have to be! Get your poop in a group and fix it.

Fitment isn't perfect, but it'll have to do
Overall, very nice product, extremely easy to install. Just wipe down the center console with alcohol, peel of the tape covers, and stick it on. One thing I had an issue with is that there is very little wiggle room. You have to spread the side frames apart to get this to fit in, and it's not a perfect fit. Left side fits perfect but the right side falls a little short, so one of my buttons is constantly pressed down. I had to roll up a tiny ball of paper towel and place it underneath to allow the buttons to flow freely. Pretty sure that piano black got scratched up trying to get underneath.

Did not fit 2023 Mazda 3 sedan
Did not fit my 2023 made in mexico mazda3 sedan. Looked decent but too wide by console end to lay flat. Might have worked if I trimmed it up but didn't want to risk damaging it. Returned and will keep looking for another brand.
