Very high quality light, read here for tips on use...
This is a fantastic light bar, very high quality, appears to be machined aluminum.TIP: There is a small "ON/AUTO/OFF" switch on one end of the light; be aware of this, because if you just take the light out of the box and put the batteries in, the switch might be either ON or OFF from being bounced around during shipping. So you might think the light doesn't work, or the motion sensor isn't working, but that's not the case; just set the switch properly.TIP: The light bar is very bright. For most people, this might be desired, however if you are using it under your bed as a walkway light at night, or in a safe or closet, you might want to preserve your night vision and not have such a bright light. For that, there is a simple fix; use a strip of colored electrical tape to cover each row of lights, on either side of the motion sensor (don't cover the motion sensor itself). This light is the exact width for doing that, a single strip of electrical tape should cover the lights perfectly. The purple or "Violet" color electrical tape made by 3M works very well to preserve night-adapted vision ( 3M Scotch #35 Electrical Tape 10836-BA-10, 3/4-Inch by 66-Foot by 0.007-Inch, Blue ).TIP: This light comes with a mounting bracket, however you can also simply zip-tie the light bar to the underside of a wire rack or shelf to hold it in place, depending upon your application.

Not sensitive enough motion sensor
So I'm installing this in a smaller / confined storage space and it works great at detecting the door opening and turning on. The problem is that if I'm not reaching in and doing things (ie: just looking around or whatever) it turns off on me. This might work OK in a closet or other area where your whole body is "visible" to the motion sensor, but in smaller spaces, it's just not sensitive enough. Really wish this had some kind of adjustable delay timer (5min would be perfect for me). This doesn't turn on very often (few times a month at most) and so far the batteries are still working after 3 months so that's good. In terms of brightness, it's pretty good, but not "mind blowing". In larger spaces, you'll probably want a few of these.UPDATE: Seller contacted me after my original 3 star review (above) and offered me $2 as a way of saying they were sorry I was unhappy with the product and hoped that I would then update my review to be more positive. I'm not sure what pisses me off more: sellers who think they can bribe me for a good review or those who think I'm so cheap that they can buy me off for $2.I ended up removing this light and installing a different product by another vendor which works better for my needs. In light of these events, I'm reducing my review to a single star.

Perfect light for side mount application in armoire/storage cabinet
Prety good item, I've used a couple of [[ASIN:B013WPJ4OM OxyLED T-02S Rechargeable Motion Sensing LED Night Light for Closet, Attics, Hallway, Washroom] ]for closetsbut I wanted something for a couple of armoires/storage cabinets. The other light has to be mounted on its back side, whereas this item can be mounted on any one of the three others sides that do not have LEDs. Granted, I also use a removable mounting tape as opposed to the brackets that came with it. All in all, its perfect for my application. It gets the right amount of light inside the cabinet (I mounted it on its side facing in towards the cabinet, so that when the doors are open, the light shines inside the cabinet and not on me. For my armoires and cabinets, this works best because otherwise if it were at the top, the light would not be effective for the bottom shelves. I purchased two of these, and the second one has a broken motion sensor. I contacted the company and they said they would get a replacement out asap. I am basing this review on their word. If something else goes wrong, I will update but I am not penalizing the company for that as errors can happen and I am overall satisfied with the light. It is not as sleek looking as some other lights, but that is actually what makes it ideal for my side mounting application.

A stick that lights up using voodoo or magic or sensors.
I use one in my closet where there is too much light to trigger it. So I covered the sensor with tape so it would always think it's dark and that didn't work, so I'm assuming it uses voodoo. When all the lights are off in the house, and it is night time, it works great, but I usually don't need the closet at that time. Enter stairs. Have you ever thought to yourself, "I hate light switches"? Cause I have. This let me never worry about leaving the stair light on ever again. I just walk towards my stairs at night and BOOM. The second one lights up. For all I know, the one in the closet that doesn't work lights up also, but who checks their closet at night with the lights off? That's horror movie stuff.

Does not work
Hello, I ordered this like 2 years ago when it was on a lighting deal on Amazon. I didn't know where I wanted to use it but it was a good deal and I knew it could be helpful for the right location. I stuck in a drawer with other electronics and just found a use for it yesterday. First time out of the box it does not work. I put in all new batteries it will not come on. I am so bummed not a good deal anymore. I can't find a way to contact the seller cuz order is so old, therefore I am reviewing instead. If the seller contacts me and makes it right I will change my review.

A nice quality compact bright LED light but motion sensor is not up to the task
A nice quality light but sensor is non functional rendering it useless for my purpose. I attempted to use this as a pantry light to go off when the door was opened. I could not find a way to get the sensor to turn the light on as expected. I even tried it under a sink and that still wouldn't trigger the light when I opened the door and waved my hand around. If I remove the light and go into an almost lightless room and wave my hand directly in front of the sensor the light will come on.Otherwise it is nicely made, very compact for the amount of light it provides (really bright), and the mounting hardware was compact and worked well. If you are willing to manually switch it on each time you need it this is a great light. It would be great for a drawer, toolbox, truck cap, etc.
