Not really a very good quality, but what does one expect for this cost! They were good enough to do the job, and that was the purpose!!

first off, are these going to replace your smooth purdy brushes that feel like velvet as you paint? 100% not, however i would not lump these in with the cheap chip brushes that have almost no bristles and fall apart.i bought 4 packs, so 40 brushes, i expected there'd be a lot wrong with them with the price point, though i don't think cheap means that you're allowed to make trash products either which is what those 30cent chip brushes are, just trash on a stick. These on the other hand are not that.of the 40 brushes i bought i slapped each of them about a dozen times on my arm to shake loose any haires that would get loose from painting, and even dry painted my arm wondering if a tone of bristles would fall out, surprisingly that wasn't the case. I'd say the worst case was one lost maybe 6 bristles, but the vast majority lost none.then the other test i'm doing is combing through the bristles and letting all the crooked ones pop out. This doesn't really affect painting that much but i'm ocd and want them all flush, surprisingly these bristles were really good for something that was under a dollar. I'd say th eworst brush, i had to trim 10 crooked bristles but on average it was more like 1-3 bristles.the handle does feel excessively light and toy like though, however, for the price point i'd easily be fine with a cheap handleI would rate these on par almost with those $4 paint brushes at the hard ware store. You know the brown handle ones with the black bristles that they will typically slap their company logo on and sell on the cheap, but of decent quality. Those are only slightly more comfortable wise due to heft of a real wood handle, and maybe the density of those brushes are slightly more, so i'd rate it a little higher than these, but again at less than a dollar a piece well worth it.maybe i got a good batch of 40, but at least for me, quality control is on par for a dollar brush.the feeling of where the bristles are inserted, i don't think they will last too many washes, but it's for stage art for a school, so i'm expecting them to be disposable to some degree which is what i like.I've yet to use them yet, so if they lay paint down like trash i'll be sure to update this review, but from what i feel of the bristles, i don't see it being a problem

Between an old house and a business making fancy stuff out of junk, I go through a LOT of brushes. These are pretty much exactly what is expected at the price point, and have a nice assortment of sizes to fit each job properly. Not so cheaply made that there’s any bristle loss, but not so fancy that you feel guilty when it only survives a single hard use. Bristles don’t dissolve with wood hardener or other resins… this is a very common problem with synthetic brushes and I use them almost daily so big plus there! The only drawback I’ve really noticed is that they tend to leave some brushstrokes if you’re using house paint (my trim isn’t totally smooth but it’s a rental so they’re lucky I didn’t make them replace it)

These are nice cheap brushes to use in hard to reach places where I would ruin a good brush. These are good in many instances. My wife uses these for her crafting as well. Thank you for this product. I buy these every year a couple of times.

For a couple dollars more you can get brushes that are actually high quality, these are very cheap and the bristles go crooked and fall out too much.

There always those items to touch up or you want to paint. Nice to have extra just in case one gets dirt on it.

I don't know why I even bought these brushes considering the doubts I had, but I was so wrong. They are absolutely brilliant!! They are soft enough to give an even coat, didn't hog the paint, even when painting a ceiling. I lost 3 bristles in an entire room of painting. I have bought many types of brushes from all ranges of brands and prices, right up to paying for the professional paint brushes but these are by far the best product for the job!! Cheap and definitely worth the money. I don't wash brushes after use, they get discarded and why not for the price you pay for these. Will certainly be buying more of these for future projects!

The bristles started to fall out almost immediately on first couple of strokes with the paint. These brushes shed hair more that a molting cat! Maybe good for painting outside on a fence...
