I specifically got this item to do a presentation with my Lenovo. However, I could not get it to work with a Samsung 4K HD TV. According to its Device Manager my Lenovo "saw" the TV while it was connected, but I could not get any picture. When I attached my wife's Lenovo laptop using the same HDMI cable without the adapter, I got the picture with no difficulty. This adapter did work on the mini-HDMI port of my Lenovo at home on my Vizio 32" 1080p TV, so I don't know what the problem was with the Samsung 4K TV. Does it not work well with 4K TVs? I haven't quite decided now whether I'm going to keep it.

These are small enough to tuck away along with a slightly longer cable to take a 1-or-2-Tb travel device filled with movies and connect just about anywhere.

I'm a professor and I foolishly bought a laptop for lectures without a traditional HDMI port, so I needed this adapter. It works great. I use it in almost every class. It is plug-in-play and does what I need it to do.

My device no longer works.I'm going to get something. So probably be handy.

it broke the third time i used it under the weight of the HDMI cable i had connected to it. would not buy again

Good adapter for my tablet. A little wobbly but no problem in transmission from tablet to TV.Adapter failed after one year.
