Homelegance Dwyer Love Seat, Black Vinyl

The box was damaged when we received, but everything inside was undamaged. It is heavy, so took 2 people to get it down to our basement. We are using this as seating for our home theater and wanted something smallish and black. This was perfect. It is not as comfortable as our regular couch, but is quite comfortable enough to sit on and watch a movie for a couple of hours or so. It was a bit tedious to put together. Came with large bolts, nuts and washers to attach all the pieces. You have to find your way to the holes to attach through the flimsy fabric on the bottom. At times we had to cut holes in it because we couldn't find the access holes, but since no one sees the under side of the couch this is not a huge concern. It wasn't so much difficult as tedious to put together, and my husband did most of it by himself, and could have easily done it all by himself. Once set up the bottom cushions, which are attached to the couch look like they are sloping down toward the front of the couch, but when you sit on it you don't feel like the cushion is at an angle and you don't slide off. The back cushions detach from the couch. The back is quite comfortable to lean against. I use a couch pillow when I lean on the arms. The couch seems quite sturdy. For the price this was an excellent buy.

I won't lie for the price, it's a good buy. This isn't fancy by any means. It's solid and good for someone with a budget. If you're looking to wow people this may do the job until they come around a couple of times. Easy to put together idk what the heck everyone is talking about. The black felt holes were all drilled perfectly. Didn't need any additional tools to put together. Listen, buy this couch with no expectations and you'll get more than you asked for. It's not comfortable by comfort standards but it's only $250!! Shoot for that price it feels comfortable due to the extra bills in my wallet acting as a cushion!! Took one star away for lack of comfort, a missing nut(which didn't effect its sturdiness), and the fact that it had some damage from shipment(scuffs and an unnoticeable tear). Over all it's a good buy... if you're looking for something that'll last more than 2 years, save up some more money and go for something else. All I can say is that it serves it's purpose now and will go into a guest room once I get a bigger place. Score B+.

We bought this loveseat when we still lived with his parents because the beanbag wasn't cutting it anymore. Now it's a great asset to our apartment. It arrived earlier than expected and though it came with instructions we didn't really need them as it's pretty self explanatory going by the picture. My only complaint is that it's not very comfortable. I prefer firmness to overly cushiness but this is almost too firm. We keep a thick blanket over it for extra cushioning and it works great, so no real complaints. If we ever need the blanket for something else though, we'll get a different loveseat because I'm the only one who uses it as it is. However, for the price it's a good buy. Would recommend to someone who needs a loveseat but is on a budget.

It's uncomfortable. Like it hurts your butt after watching a movie. Also, it being vinyl, it looks a little cheap - but then again, it is. I will say this, if you are looking for this unit, this is the place to buy it. This is sold under about 5 different names through as many different retailers and Amazon had the best price on the Internet. If you just need a love seat to fill a corner as secondary seating this is a decent consideration. If you are looking for inexpensive primary seating in a room, keep looking... it's about the same as sitting on a foam bad on a box spring. I wouldn't buy it again and when I'm through with it or I've had enough of it - IF it doesn't end up at the local landfill it will be a free give away with a warning of it's lack of comfort.The best application I can think of may be a waiting room, a sitting room that does not get much use or basement where it is rarely used or only for short periods of time. You're gonna feel it within 30 to 45 minutes of use.

Better quality then I thought it was going to be for the price. It was easy to assemble and looks pretty nice. And it stood up to my teenage son and friends all through high school and has now been passed down to my best friends son who is in high school and had it for 2 years. So 6 years of high school boys and it’s still in one piece! Impressive!

The chair looks nice in a sitting area that no one sit at! That is its only purpose and the reason I bought it! If you are looking for a comfortable chair to sit in as an everyday chair, you will be disappointed. It is not comfortable and I doubt the materials are durable enough for a lot of wear and tear. Again, I bought it because its a good looking chair, not for its physical use. I bought two of these and the matching love seat/couch for the same reasonAssembly is kind of a pain, but it was affordable so that was a fair trade.I like it and would buy them again for the purpose of a visually appealing but not utilized sitting area.

this thing is super small and low to the ground even with the legs on there is no room for a adult to sit comfortably for small children and lil people horrible build quality had to drill several of the holes myself and rip up the thin layer or fabric on the bottom because u cant c with it there the wood they used on this must of been the scrap u find in the dumpster outside lowes or home depot it was very weak im a big dude in the 200s i ended up putting this in my son room cause it would not due for the living room the back cushions are ok but the ones u sit on are not u can feel the wood on ur tail bone very annoying when ur trying to watch tv or just relax. the couch still feels like it will come apart if me and a buddy sit on it not very sturdy built again for a small child would not recommend unless you happen to be a child looking to redecorate ur room lol
