Haven't started on it yet, but it looks very well designed and crafted.
Have to admit, my son and I haven't started on this one yet, but I wanted to give my opinion. The box is nothing flashy, black box with writing, so I was a little hesitant. I opened it up and was wow'ed. Just like the big name brand, they now number the bags so you don't have to dump out all bazillion pieces and root through them. The instruction book (War and Peace size here), is full color and very detailed. The book is huge. Thumb through it first so you are mentally prepared. This project isn't something you throw together in an hour. It's going to take time, which I look forward to. My 14 year old and I can't wait to dive it. It has accessories for radio-controlled, which I might get, just to play with it. :-) All in all, it looks like a great bonding thing and a great rainy-day(s) activity.

No motor
My son spent weeks putting this together and then on like the 3rd to last page it says motor assembly and motor is sold separately.. I don't even see where to buy the motor anywhere

Fun Build With Detail And Quality Comparable to Name Brand
Being a huge fan of Lego kits, I am always skeptical of getting a set made by another company. That said, there are times where you just cannot find what you are looking for and have to consider other manufacturers and/or MOC sets. This set looked like a great elaborate build at a fairly low price so decided to give it a shot. Very glad I did! Many non-Lego sets have low quality bricks, come in a barrage of bags with no rhyme or reason and/or the directions are of poor quality. I am happy to report none of these were an issue with this set. The set came in a fairly non-descript black cardboard box but the contents were well organized. The bricks came in four bags logically arranged so you finish the prior bag before needing the next one. The directions are well laid out in a style you will be familiar with if you build name brand sets. The build is similar to Technic style cars and has great details including a working steering wheel. The decals are of high quality as well. Just due to the size of the set it will likely take a bit to complete and would probably be challenging for younger folks unless they are already used to Technic or similarly complex sets. As others noted, the doors are somewhat prone to coming off when being moved but that is the only flaw in my opinion. Definitely a quality, fun build and a solid value!

Quality Item, Moderately Easy Build
This arrived very quickly and was well packaged - no damage or missing pieces. This is a very attractive display model, and does not take an excessive amount of time to put together. It might be a little tedious for a younger (and/or new) builder who is more interested in the "finish it so I can play with it" aspect, but is ideal for those who enjoy the building process and like a nice showpiece. The doors are quick to come off, so you have to be especially careful when showing off that open and close feature, but overall the construction is able to stand up to being touched and moved around. The colors are vibrant and there are lots of little details to make it stand out, as you can see in the dashboard/steering wheel photo included. I believe this is very comparable to some bigger name building sets, but with a decidedly lower price tag. This would be a great gift for an intermediate level builder.(It appears a remote control option for the car can be purchased as a separate item. The RC tech is not included with this package.)

Pleasantly surprised
We have been wanting to test out a Lego alternative and this is the one my kid wanted to try. It came packaged in a nice black shipping box. The bricks are packaged nicely in numbered bags just like the brand name. My kid says he is able to follow the instructions just the same as his name brand bricks. According to him, he would not have know it wasn’t the real thing had it been in a different box. These blocks are a good purchase for Lego/Bricks enthusiast.

Good looking results that don't quite work right and are difficult to build up.
Packaging : Set comes in a fairly normal box with only a barcode sticker to indicate what is inside. Within the box is 4 large numbered bags full of bags of parts, one instruction manual, one sticker sheet.Instructions : Well printed, reasonably clear instructions on good paper. A point of praise is including 1:1 images of certain parts to make it easy to make sure you use the correct beam or axle.Parts quality : Above average quality plastic, but with average to slightly below average parts fit. Some axles required substantial force to get them to go into place, while other connections are weak to the point that parts fall off if even slightly disturbed.Stickers : Yes, it has several. The quality is above average, but most of the stickers will span two pieces, and several are cut slightly too large. Most of the stickers are very much needed to achieve the desired visual effect, especially on the doors. Be prepared for very precise placements.Set Design : A deeply mixed bag. The chassis itself is well designed and built, with the engine area and rear of the car being very solid and well done. The front end of the car is a very messy build involving several techniques that are at best questionable, with results that are weak and tend to fail under slight pressures - this is especially noted when you need to flip the car upside down during building of the front end.Special notes : The set was missing one piece (1x2 double-axle-holed plate). It was possible to assemble without it using some care, and without any lasting structural issues as a result by carefully choosing which part to omit from the assembly involved. Also, it is possible to turn this set into a remote-control car, but the results of that would be very unpleasant due to the front end issues - the hood often drags on the front tires, resulting in steering and movement issues. All told, I can't easily recommend this set to any builders except for those who are truly adept at finessing things together into a usable form. Most people will find the set confusing at best, and frustrating at worst, especially with some of the very tricky assemblies that just don't quite want to go without almost excessive amounts of force due to some axles being slightly wider than they should be and the need to rebuild sections that will not stay when you flip the car over to work on it from the underside at points. If you're OK with these things - and I know some of us are - then it's a perfectly fine set to get for yourself, and it *does* look nice and will display well.
