What I needed for the car and easy to use. I have an older vehicle that does not link up to blue tooth and I could not seem to find just the right audio device until this one. I have used this for a couple of months now and I don't have anything bad to say about it so I will just list the things that make me glad I finally got this affordable option after other attempts with other products were failures. First it is so easy to use. After linking it the first time, it links up right away at turning on, no waiting a long time or anything. It always locates my phone right away. It is really easy to use without even looking at it once you use it a few times. I had tried another one before and trying to push mode and stuff to set it up to use each time was really aggravating, would take forever for each mode and would require me to pull over so as not to interfere with driving (safe driving is a must). I was prepared for the same thing with this one but I was so pleased when I started using it, it went to the right mode that I was trying to use each time after turning it on so without looking I can push the power button and I am good to go. Also sound is easy to control, you can do it from your phone or from the device. This is really handy in case you can't reach one item or the other. Second, the sound is GREAT! I could not have been happier with the sound. It can go so loud that I do not dare turn it up all the way, no need and the sound is so clear. It took me months to listen to a book before this sound device because while driving I would have to rewind so I could not hear sections again clear but as soon as I started listening with this, I could not wait to start the next book as I got through them so fast. Third, it works great for other phone audio sounds also including talk to text (text reading) and GPS on my phone. I actually turn the sound off on my phone GPS or turn it down through the menu options because it will be so loud over the audio book it can be a little much because the book audio seems to be lower sound and when turned up to hear nicely on this it makes GPS really loud. I wish I could control the sounds separate easily on my phone but I am not disappointed that I can't. The fact I can hear my books so loud and clear is wonderful. Fourth, the size is great. It is small enough to fit in my cup holders but I avoid that because it is shorter that the cup holder and makes it harder to get out but if I have a cord to it, it does not slip in. I have a spot in my dash it can sit also if I wanted it to be higher but I usually just leave down on the seat next to me. It is really amazing the sound that comes out of it for it being so small. Fifth, it seems really well made. I had tried a couple other sound items before and they were just plastic and once I started using them they would start to cut in and out or not hold a charge or something. For the size of this, it has some weight to it. I don't have it in my hand right now but I feel like if you sat on it, it is not going to break. I would say this is a great little sound device for your car or even your home if you need something to help boost the sound of any blue tooth product.

What a pleasant surprise. This little speaker works very well. It's not extremely loud, but the sound quality is surprisingly good. The Bluetooth works well and it can be connected with the auxiliary cord as well.

The sound is really good. The charge is alright. I keep it plugged in all the time. I use this speaker for my tv sound and the only big issue for me is that the buttons for volume, skip and power are on the bottom.

I bought this expecting a decent little waterproof speaker. Good sound, good volume, controls that were actually designed by someone who understands human fingers. The buttons are discreet but readable, spaced out enough that you’re not trying to turn the volume up and accidentally launching yourself into Bluetooth pairing purgatory. Already five-star behavior. But apparently this thing needed to prove itself. During a window renovation, my daughter somehow yeeted it out of a window with no screen. We couldn’t find it. I assumed it had gone wherever missing socks, hair ties, and my remaining patience live. Two months later, my dad found it. In a bush. Outside. This speaker had been sitting there through rain, storms, temperature changes, humidity, and whatever unspeakable events happen inside suburban shrubbery after dark. I fully expected to press the power button and hear the electronic equivalent of a death rattle. Nope. Turned on. Connected. Played perfectly. At this point I’m not even sure I bought a speaker. I may have accidentally purchased a small, waterproof Nokia phone reincarnated as an audio device. Would I intentionally throw it into a swimming pool? No. I’m not a scientist and Amazon does not pay me enough to become one. But can I confirm that this thing survived approximately two months of outdoor abandonment and emerged from a bush ready to play music like nothing happened? Absolutely. Sound: great. Volume: great. Controls: great. Water resistance: borderline disrespectful to nature. Five stars. If society collapses, I’m bringing this speaker.

I’ve had this speaker for 6 years. Last week it fell off one of my bathroom shelves and into the toilet while I was in the shower. It was submerged for probably about two full minutes before I could get out of the shower to get it. I fully expected it to be kaput, but to my surprise, it still works just fine. It’s clearly very sturdy and is perfectly sufficient for listening to music and podcasts while I get ready in the morning. Would recommend.

Updated** I’ve now had this speaker for about 3 years. I got it just to play white noise, but it has turned out to be a good little speaker to have around. I learned how to turn the bright blue led light off at night. Once it connects to your device quickly hit the power button once and the light will go off! That was not in the generic instructions. I learned that on my own. It’s battery is inly good for about and hour now, but that’s fine with me. *** Original Review- Nothing to write home about. I've seen better bluetooth speakers for the same amount of money. One big issue I had with it is the static and popping it does even below half volume.I barely turn it up and it has this rattle sound. I got this to play fan noise when I sleep at night, no other reason. Do not get this if you want to use it at night unless you want a lamp. The lights around the bottom do not have an option to turn them off and after your eyes adjust it lights up the whole room. Not conducive for me and sleeping. If you wanted to use it for a baby's room that would probably be okay. I wrapped black electrical tape around the bottom to stop the light. As for function, it seamlessly connected to my iphone all the buttons are on the bottom and the light is so bright if you have to pick it up to use the buttons, the light literally blinds you and you can't see the buttons anyway. The light is a brilliant blue, which is pretty. It turns purple if it's on the charger at the same time. I have only had to use the buttons on the bottom once so, I don't know how they would work with a memory card or anything. It does have a slot for it in back. The sound is so unimpressive I would have sent it back it I were using it for anything other than a fan sound on very low volume. I didn't add any photos of the light cause I taped over it. If I get a chance, I may add pictures later.

Purchased this because I wanted a speaker that wouldnt cost me a small fortune. I didn't expect this to be very good, just wanted something to make my phone a little bit louder when I'm cleaning, or cooking or whatever. I read the reviews that all claim that this little speaker has a BIG sound, and thought it was a bunch of crap. Surely this little thing can't be that great for this price. I was wrong. It's LOUD. It's powerful for such a little thing. It fits in your hand comfortably, it will look cool on your counter, end table or mantle. It even fits in the cup holder of your car if you're experincing issues with your radio (I feel you my dudes, I feel you). It's the best purchase I made, I might even buy another just so I can have two. The rose gold option was cool, because I wanted it to match my phone (go figure right?!) but yeah, I care about the little things like that. Pretty, loud, works amazing and it sounds good too. I was expecting a little bit of static when I turned the volume all the way up, but I didn't experience any. It was just as clear as it was on low, just much louder. If you're debating buying this because it's cheaper than most, and you're afraid it'll be some cheap piece of junk... it's not. Just go ahead and buy this sucker! It's worth it.

I'm a bit late reviewing this item, because honestly, I wasn't exceedingly impressed with the sound quality. BUT, for the price I concede that it's a very good product. I use it at work and carry it around all evening on a housekeeping cart. I usually had it on the loudest setting. I would put it on charge during lunch and never had a problem with it dying on me. But the main reason I came back to write a review is that it is sturdy as hell! I have dropped it many times on tile, carpet and concrete and it has never seemed to have the slightest effect. It just keeps playing. I bought a different speaker, only a few dollars more expensive, which quit working after about a month, so I went back to this one. I've recently purchased yet another small speaker that I'm pretty happy with, but keep this little guy on standby, just in case. So if you're looking for something for kids, or maybe you don't need outstanding sound quality at high volume, for this price you will be more than pleased.
