Really small! They also have an "unfinished" quality that makes them feel more like hardware than a hair accessory. They are strong. Just super small.

I like these hair pins because they secure a bun extremely well, slide in smoothly, and don't rust. I wish they made a tight bobby pin version that could be used to hold the sides and back up.
