My Go to for DIY RC Plane Builds
Just installed in my flying wing that I built myself and look forward to taking it out for a maiden next week. I have used this same ESC in other builds and have a 60 Amp in one of my larger DIY built planes. Great product works very well and if paired properly with the correct motor and prop it should work like a charm. I can say with test It does get warm but I have not had one fail on my yet. Great product!

Cheap in price but not on performance!
Upgraded the motor on my Parkzone Corsair and needed a bigger ESC than what came with it. Didn't want to shell out big bucks for a name brand ESC, so I thought , for the price, I'd give this one a try. I'm glad I did! Performs as well as other ESC's at twice the price. I have well over 30 flights (each lasting 6-7 minutes) and this unit has performed flawlessly. I just ordered another to install in my T-28 after upgrading its motor. Plays a nice little tune when its arming too. I highly recommend this ESC if you are needing a 40 amp esc but don't want to spend a lot of your hard earned bucks!

Works but wires are a bit skimpy
I am using it with ducted fan foam jet, and 4 cell lipo. So far it’s flying, doesn’t seem to overheat, but it did take me down to low power at one point. I don’t know if it’s because the lead wires are a bit skimpy. I’d say it’s a good value. If you don’t overload it . the default settings are pretty good and you really need the programming device for 10 bucks. If you wanna program it as it’s almost impossible to do from the transmitter.

Great Customer Service!!
I very seldom write reviews but just had to for this esc. I bought it to replace the one in an electric rec helicopter that is probably 15 or more years old. All the connections matched perfectly and I had the servos all working but the motor would not spin up. You can scan the QR code on the esc and it brings up the online manual which is very detailed and easy to follow if you know what you were doing which I didn’t. I called the customer service number and actually had a person answer wasn’t press this number press that number for this or that. An actual person answer that spoke English and he was able to walk me through some troubleshooting and basic set up procedure and got everything working perfectly. He was going to send me a replacement if we couldn’t get this one working but it turned out not to be necessary. I would highly recommend this company.

Very Pleased so Far
I won't know for sure till I fly my Volantex Phoenix 2400 glider I put this in last night but so far the experience has been terrific.. The leads are well made and well soldered and a bit longer than I needed. They were very easy to fit into this glider.. I had no ESC Programming card but found the instructions exceptionally easy to get to via the QR code on the package and Setting the Brakes to ON from the default OFF start using my Taranis Radio was simple and easy tho since You have to set the throttle stick to max I did take the precaution to remove the prop 1st even tho it never spun up unexpectedly. So Far, I really like it I just hope the 3 amps from the BEC is adequate since I do have 6 servos in this plane and that it holds up under load.. if so I think this will be a very good value considering its low cost. The plane flew with out issues.. plenty of thrust.. landed it and it was barely warm.. I like it a lot.

Junk, NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
This BEC didn't last but a couple of days. I am building a new plane and I didn't have any extras. It worked fine when I first installed it but after I got the wing finished, I was doing final setup on the servos and noticed that when I would connect the battery the motor would not arm. After a lot of changes like anew motor, battery and radio then I installed a different bec now everything is working fine. But the unit is past the return date so I will have to trash it with no refund. Be careful if I would have stuck this in a plane ready to fly I would be out a lot of money. Power: This was size I needed.

An excellent ESC!
This ESC is absolutely awesome. I now use this brand almost exclusively in all my projects. Very easy to program, and drives a 2212/1400kv motor, 8” prop with a 2200mah 3S with ease. I hope these guys stay around for a long time. They make and sell an excellent product.

Worked for an outrunner 10" folding prop
I used it for a larger outrunner In a 2 meter glider the 3.5 bullet connectors didn't fit. So I just cut the tips off the gold connectors themselves sled them together and solder them.. I'm just using a moderate power motor 74% throttle... I just held on to the fuselage for 3 or 4 minutes and the speed control doesn't get hot. I never used the BEC.... I'm flying next to trees and I can't afford Any type of failure with the BEC...

It immediately exploded the moment I plugged it into my Li-Po battery. I checked it with a multimeter and sure enough, the item is defective. The package it comes with is stapled as well.
