Works very well. Was not designed to be tight. Just slide on and lift from bottom of pad while lifting handle at same time. Not for gripping tightly with, or leaving on in the oven or while cooking on stovetop. We like it…..

It is a little oversized and will not stay on my 10inch or 12inch Lodge pots.

This is a must when using the cast iron pits ! I thought I had purchase two in the package but only one came it works great! I will need to order another one for the other side of the handle. Glad I brought it don’t hesitate you need this in your kitchen when cooking on cast iron pots !

I put in the search box silicone pot holders. 20 -30 pages came up. I was numb form looking for what I had requested since the search results included many other non requested items. The ad shows them in pairs. I placed an order thinking that they came in pairs like the picture shows. I only got one. When I went back to the site, I re-read the ad and realized that the picture showing 2 red one did not mean that I would get two. I will hold my nose and order another one, but I am not a happy camper. They should not show them in pairs. That is false advertising.It seems to be a good product, just a little pricey.

These handle protectors are useful on a few of Lodge cast iron cookware. I was looking for something for some of my pans and found they fit my Lodge 14” cast pizza pan. Perfect for taking heavy pizza pans out of a hot oven.
