So many good reviews, and for the price, it's a great sight. The spring loaded flip up is positive and very good functioning. However, the front sight post doesn't stay put; it rotates on its own. It's not loose, but rotates putting the fiber optic sideways, then correct, then sideways every time I shoot on a 9mm AR. Then in less than 30 rounds or so with the rear sight down, it flipped up on its own and wouldn't go down. I found that the nut holding the rear flip up/down push pin fell out. I was able to put it back on again, but found that it was getting loose very quickly before the box of 50 rounds were done. I suppose I can put some locktite on it, but.... Definitely not trusting my life on these cheap build quality sights. It would be good for airsoft or air guns. Edit 11/7/24: Votatu reached out and asked if I would give them another try. So I did and found this copy to be solid. The tiny allen screw holding the front post was locked in so the front post did not move this time. I tested it again by loosening the set screw, changing front post elevation, then locking in again, rinse and repeat. It held up to about a dozen trials. The rear sight held up great this time after 1000 rounds. The nut stayed put and it doesn't appear they put any locktite on it, but then I didn't take it apart to check. So perhaps the first one I got was either a bad one or someone tinkered with it and returned it before me. The fiber optics. didn't do much in an indoor range, and I didn't try it outdoors, but I wasn't too fond of it as my eye just automatically goes to the top of the post. Votatu sights held zero and shot as well as a red dot at indoor distances. I would give it 4 stars on design and function, but their customer service earned the fifth star.

I'm a big fan of iron sights, but let's be honest, some of them can be pretty...basic. Not these VOTATU V2s though! From the moment I slapped them on my AR, I could tell these were something special. Low profile: These sights don't add any unnecessary bulk to your rifle. They're low-profile enough to co-witness with most red dot sights, which is a big plus for me. On the Range: These sights have seriously upped my game. I'm picking up targets faster, my sight picture is more consistent, and my groups are shrinking. I'm not saying I'm suddenly Jerry Miculek, but I'm definitely a lot more confident with these irons on my rifle. Overall: If you're looking for a top-notch set of iron sights that won't break the bank, VOTATU V2s are the way to go. They're well-made, easy to use, and they'll make you a better shooter. Awesome sights and built solid. The only ding I give it is that the fiber optic marking could be better. Easy to install and stay on tight, so zeroing was not a big issue.

Excellent quality, especially for the price. Very positive spring action. Solid grip on the pic rail. I have not sighted them in yet, but it seems like they have sufficient adjustment. So far the only negative I see is that the fiber optic does not pick up very much light. Still, it’s easy enough to see the front post. I especially appreciate the two-size rear aperture that easily swaps at a press. I installed these on a 9 mm carbine as a back-up to an electronic red dot sight. They pop up hard and fast at an easy press so I think they function really well in that role. Great value. Absolutely recommend.

I needed some decent iron sights for a couple of guns that were good but wouldn't break the bank. These work perfectly. They look good, are easy to use and install, and are SOLID METAL! Very nice. It took me all of about 5 minutes maximum to put these on and they look and work great. adjustment is simple as well, and the rear ring sight has two different aperture sizes that you can change with a simple flip. I am very satisfied with these and will be considering more products from this company in the future.

Actually, as good as the expensive Magpul ones that I also own. Unless you're John Wick or are planning to HALO into Tehran, this set will do you just fine for 99.99% of those who buy it and for what they will use it for.

The VOTATU V2 Fiber Optic Flip-Up Sights are impressive for the price. Adjustments are quick and easy, the mounting feels secure, and the overall build quality seems solid right out of the box. The fiber optic dots (red and green) are bright and easy to pick up, which should make for faster sight alignment in daylight conditions. I haven’t had the chance to shoot with them yet, so I’ll need to update once I see how well they hold zero. That said, as a backup to my Sig Romeo 5 red dot, these fit the role perfectly. They’d also be a good option for airsoft setups, or even for a rifle if they prove reliable after live-fire testing. For the cost, they’re hard to beat — especially considering some competitors charge two to three times more for polymer alternatives. If you’re looking for budget-friendly backup sights that feel well-made, these are definitely worth a try.

Good product good price, good seller, no complaints!

The rear sight has no rail groove. Will not hold to the rail. They forgot to cut the groove that bites into the rail. The front one has a small notch but the rear is completely flat. I will have to return it since it will not hold or may loose it in transit.

Bad machining. The front side is ok with groove on each side. The rear sight have groove only on one side so it wont old on the rail.
