Good older female supplement with hidden bonus
I take this daily, and it helps with femininity for women of a certain age. The added bonus is that it seems to replace or mask body odor (everywhere) with the lovely spiced scent of fenugreek. Highly recommend as a supplement for post-menopause even if you are not seeking the lactation qualities!

Fenugreek
I started taking two pill 3 times a day as says on bottle. I need to increase my breast milk supply it did a little but not drastically. Instead it gave my a stomachache and I was really gassy.

Seem to be good quality, good price for large bottle
Good quality, and seem to be working as they are intended. I love the fact this bottle is 360 capsules for the price I was paying for another brand (for only 180 capsules). These are not just for breastfeeding mothers... I am a man and take one per day to lower my cholesterol, balance my blood-sugar, and it works well for the lower-GI tract as well. When my ex-wife was breast-feeding, our doctor recommended I take them as well, for the benefits of cholesterol lowering/balance, and I've not had a bad exam or blood-work since I began taking them. Also, taking one per day reduces the maple-syrup smell of your sweat or breath, so you don't smell like you just left a pancake breakfast, lol.

Magically brought my sugar levels to normal
I'm using this with metformin. I take two capsules just before I take my first bite to eat then halfway through the meal take my metformin. Blood sugar levels have come down to good levels. Had half a pizza last night with chips and had a fasting of 129 next morning (would have been in 150s or higher before fenugreek.Levels before evening meal has been in low 80s, 10 to 15 points lower then it was with just metformin. With a normal supper my morning fasting has gone down to as low as 103.I've been using it before lunch and supper for only two weeks but it's nice to be able to eat without starving myself.

Helps my asthma
I read that these help asthma and was reluctant to use them bc the last thing I need is bigger boobs. I don’t use the recommended dose. I take two with my evening vitamins and it actually works! I can only imagine how good I would feel if I took the recommended dose but the girls are big enough. 🥺

Excellent For Acid Reflux and Gastritis. AVOID PPIs! They cause deficiencies and SIBO.
I had severe gastritis as a result of chemo for breast cancer, and ended up with such excruciating symptoms that I was ambulanced into hospital with a suspected ruptured ulcer. Needless to say, I was put on Omeprazole alongside my (unfortunately) regular pain killer of Oramorph - my system doesn’t tolerate any painkillers outside of the opiate family. Also needless to say, Omeprazole led to various nutritional deficiencies, including iron-deficient anaemia. I was put on prescription iron tablets. Within a week, what I thought was my long-dormant IBS had returned with a vengeance. Cramps and bloating galore, gastric distress, the works. I came off both drugs and looked for natural treatments for the discomfort and vile acid reflux that burned my throat and even affected my teeth. I was given Buscopan for the IBS. That was around 8 years ago.Fenugreek proved the answer for the gastritis, acid reflux, and gastric discomfort. I can’t recommend it highly enough for this. It helps damaged stomach and oesophageal linings by producing a mucosal layer - when your stomach lining, which is ordinarily covered with a thick layer of mucilage, becomes damaged and thinned, normal stomach acid production hits these unprotected areas and it hurts. Presumably this applies to the oesophagus and throat too, though the linings of those are thinner than the stomach lining. The mucilage produced by Fenugreek soothes and protects. My GP and my consultant were, of course, flummoxed; their training tells them that the only answers are pharmaceutical products - no surprise, as all medical schools are funded by Big Pharma, and their aim is to have doctors promote their drugs.Oh, and the IBS that I initially thought had been triggered by the prescription iron tables turned out to be SIBO, Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. This is caused by hypochlorhydria, low stomach acid, and results in the right bacteria end up living in the wrong location in the gut. It causes enormously embarrassing digestive nasties like extraordinarily foul wind, constipation, diarrhoea, and the most alarming series of noisy and loud whooshes, gurgles, rumbles and squeals several hours after eating. It genuinely sounds like a set of ancient Victorian plumbing, and smells like blocked-up drains! 😳Have proved intolerant to the standard Rifaximin treatment (I feared I would be, but got to the point where I was desperate enough to try it), organic home-made kefir didn’t help, and I’m too exhausted to get up every morning to juice x5 heads of celery (the juice increases stomach acid which in turn sends the displaced bacteria back to their correct location in the gut), so I’m about to try Betaine HCL + Pepsin and see if that helps. The last thing I need on top of SIBO is a return of the gastritis and reflux, so I always keep a tub of Fenugreek at home. I wouldn’t be without it.The dose listed on the bottle is x3 caps, but I’ve always taken x6 at a time. The relief is nearly instant, and it only improves with regular daily or twice daily dosing. -After a few days I have zero acid in my throat. Zero. Nada. Zilch. None. ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO INFLICT OMEPRAZOLE, LANSAPRAZOLE, OR ANY OTHER PPIs ON YOUR ALREADY DAMAGED SYSTEM!The only side-effect to mention is that, at least at the x6 a day dose that I intermittently take, I smell like maple syrup within about 12 hours of taking it. It’s not an unpleasant smell, it’s quite sweet and a bit earthy/ musky, but it isn’t my normal skin-smell. Neither I nor my partner mind it. It’s just different from my usual aroma.Hope this helps someone! 😊

Amazing product
Love these pills as they have definitely helped with my supply! It’s true that they leave a curry odour on your armpits etc but I found that using a good quality deodorant combatted it. I use to take 2 tablets (when my son was 1/2weeks) alongside the pregnacare breastfeeding tablet’s and now take 6 tablets now that my son is 16 weeks & have noticed a massive milk increase! For as long as I breast feed I was live by these! I know how it feels to only produce a small amount of milk , these have saved me and my sons life!

Really good quality fenugreek
This is really good quality Fenugreek. I'm breastfeeding and bought this to boost milk supply. And it sure did!Although after a couple of weeks using it, my armpits started smelling of maple syrup. Great! But another few weeks down, I started smelling of fenugreek/curry. That wasn't great. (Although baby was still drinking my milk!). I had to stop taking it as I couldn't stand my own stench anymore. It was that bad. Which just means that this is really good quality, high potent fenugreek capsules! So yes!! Buy buy buy! It's highly recommended.

didn't work as well as I hoped
I ordered this hoping that it would steadily increase my milk supply after I had finished the one I bought from H&B. I have been taking 2 capsules 3 times a day for over a month but felt that it did not improve my milk supply as much as the ones I was taking from H&B which made a noticeable improvement after 2 weeks. I won't be finishing the bottle and will revert to the H&B ones instead.

Helped to improve my milk supply
Very good for the early days of breastfeeding. You need to take 3 tablets 3 times a day (so, 9 in a day!), which unfortunately means that you will smell of curry! But, they did make a difference for me.
