Review: 1 Year later...NO PIGEONS - Had for 1 year now.....NO PIGEONs in my barn. Initially dropped about 75%,,...then a few returned...found you have to change frequency, placement every few days....then one day, after they raises the babies....they were gone!!! Turned it off in November and still no pigeons..but started to see the Starlings this Feb...turned it on and they were gone in 2 days. This will not drive the birds away instantly (which is what you really want to see) however it did get rid of mine and they had been there for 2 years without being distrubed. ..the 'sound' did not bother my horses or llamas...chickens were ok on the ground, but stayed off the high roost when I aimed at the high corner of barn on their side. SO BASICALLY I AM SAYING IT WORKS, BUT YOU HAVE TO WORK TOO...only thing I found that did not damage or have potential to kill something else that worked. Worth the horrid price... Initial review 3/2015... you need to REALLY understand placement...pigeon population went from over 20 to 4 very stubborn ones....they are 2 pairs on a nest ...so hoping when they are finished they will leave too. Placement is critical....the "sound" is projected in a coneish shape and needs to be at level of birds...I have an old barn that is 40 ft where they like to live....need to get the blaster up there AND you need to be able to get to it weekly (at least) to alter the frequency to keep annoying the birds. I ended up with a pulley system that works easily for me. Review: Three Stars - It's working somewhat... Still have some birds not affected or getting used to it.

Didn't Work
The first day it was installed a family of sparrows landed upon it and had themselves a crap. We tweaked the settings and still no luck, in fact some of the little chickadees began to sing to it whilst they were pooping on it. Not sure what kind of birds this is intended to scare off - but is sparrows mock it, by singing and pooping on it, then I would say this would strike no fear in any bird. Break out the pellet gun!

It didnt work for us
Although pricey, we purchased this for our home due to swallows perching in the eves. We mounted it in our semi enclosed patio area with the strobe light. It had absolutely no effect on our bird problem. Thankfully they gave us a full refund.

Squirrels left the house
I had a big problem with squirrels in the ceiling. They left in a couple of days when I got QB4. Only thing that worries a bit is that if the adapter gets too hot and causes fire, as it is not easy to check it from time to time. Not likely, but possible. Nothing else helped and I tried all tricks I could find on web.
