Cheap swedge connection
The cable Came apart on first use! Stabbed halibut and the connection cameRight apart! Decent product but re-swedge the end before use.

I buy these every year and take them with us to Alaska. Great product.

This is as good an example of poor quality control as I've ever .seen..
Fell apart in the box wrong size thimble (1/4" on 1/8 "cable) cheap aluminum conduit used for crimps(see the pic!). Just plain shoddy. I fix it in an hour with about $6 in materials. Better than loosing a 200# halibut. Lesson learned!!

Works great for halibut, have an extra tip for when you have a couple of fish on at the same time.

Nice units
I like the tips themselves, the cables all need to be recrimped! Lost 2 out of 3 but was able to use my gaffe on both and didn't lose any fish but close!
