I have a 75 lb absolute meathead of a dog and this product has been amazing ! He is pretty well behaved but on occasions he will loose his manners and try to run off after a squirrel or cat pulling me with him and this product still looks just like new ! I have not noticed any rips or any sort of wear, this was a great inexpensive option for a thicker collar like I wanted ! very happy with this product

this is just a replacement for a previously purchased one of these collars. His neck size is between small and medium depending on his double coat thickness and time of year. Previous one got caught in his jaw at the boarding kennel and he chewed through it to free his jaw/mouth because nobody was there to untangle it for him. My fault I should have checked the collar to see if it needed switched for the smaller summer version. Now that's it's cold in northeast wanted to be prepared for the thicker winter coat.

We had been purchasing leather collars for our dog and he would ruin them within a few months. The leather wore out and the collars would fall apart. This collar still looks brand new after a year and a half! Great quality, great purchase!

It's December 4, 2022, and Brie is now 65lbs and my Anatolian is 142lbs. Both dogs still roughhouse, but my Anatolian no longer drags Brie around by her collar. Now he just grabs her entire neck. But even with all the collar abuse, this thing still looks new! I am so impressed with the quality and construction. Even with Brie continuing to bolt off the back deck like a flying monkey, yanking herself off her feet when she hits the end of her tether (you'd think she would have learned to put on the brakes before hitting the end), she's so determined the squirrels have no right to bury nuts in the yard, she gets tunnel-vision and off she goes. I love this collar! Wish it came in pink!Original Review:This is the 3rd collar I've bought for my 42lb Pitbull, Brie. She and my 110lb Anatolian Shepherd love playing together. Unfortunately, my Anatolian figured out how to drag Brie around by her collar...and none of the prior collars were able to stand up to their playtime, except this one. It's a bit wide for her size, but I am really impressed by the durability. It still looks new.Brie is a rescue that loves to climb fences, so for now she's on a lead. She also hates the squirrels on the bird feeder across the yard. One of her old collars came completely apart when she leapt off the deck after a squirrel and hit the end of her tether. The squirrels always get away. She did the same mad dash squirrel chase with this new collar, hit the end of the tether and was yanked completely off all four feet. I shouldn't have laughed, but it was funny. And the collar...like nothing even happened! I love this thing.It's now mid-December 2021 and this collar is still like new...I am so pleased with the durability. I'm going to look into getting one for my now 114lb Anatolian Shepherd.

We have 2 Husky/Pit mixes, after time they kept breaking chain collars. So far these seem to be holding up much better.

My Pitbull Large he took it off the first time I put on the Last two holes and he couldn’t get it off But other than that is good for Now

My dogs a medium size for this collar but he's just a little (stocky) terrier. The collar is too sturdy and over built. This is entirely my fault and not the products. If you have a doberman, labrador, boxer or even a largish labradoodle I don't think you could find a better collar.

I bought this hoping for it to be an adult collar for my german shepherd puppy. Something nice and thick so he can be more comfortable. He is only seven months old right now and not even close to his adult weight and he managed to rip a seam after not being allowed to play with his best dog friend. He doesn't pull otherwise, so this has not even been heavily worn.For the price, I really expected better than to have to be patching up a collar after only having it a month! Such a shame because it looks so nice (one extra star for the looks), but that won't cut it if the seams rip and my dog goes flying off!

Absolut sinnlos finde ich aber die Konstruktion mit der Verbreiterung. Da sich das Halsband dreht, ist es immer an unterschiedlichen Stellen des Halses und stört teilweise in der Bewegungsfreiheit (schnüffeln am Boden oder aber an der Halswirbelsäule ist es einfach im Weg). Selbst wenn es an gewünschter Stelle am Hals sitzt kommt bei Zug keine Druckverteilung auf die Verbreiterung zustande. Der Druck ist unter dem gurtbreiten Teil des Halsbandes. Die Verbreiterung hätte weg gelassen werden können.Da sie stört habe ich sie abgeschnitten und die Enden mit dem Feuerzeug verschmolzen dass die Nähte nicht aufgehen. So wird es nicht ewig halten, ist aber von der Form ideal für meine Hündin (45 kg, Schäferhund-Herdenschutzhundmix, Größe XL)Die Größe fällt eher groß aus. L hätte gereicht.Der Griff wirkt solide und stabil verarbeitet. Ich finde die Qualität besser als bei no name China Produkten. Auch der Ring wirkt stabil, es wird aber leider keine Bruchlast angegeben, was ich vermisse. Die Patchflächen (Klett) sind wirklich groß. Da bekommt man mehrere Patches drauf.Wird als Alltagshalsband verwendet bis sich die Nähe lösen, dann werde ich es nicht wieder kaufen. Da gibt es idealere Halsbänder, auch vom selben Hersteller.

Se lo puse a mi perra durante un par de semanas, y ya viendo cómo le quedaba, dudaba bastante de que fuera a ser cómodo para ella. Además, pasados varios días, toda la zona del cuello que tenía contacto con el collar, se le irritó.La calidad es buena (y puede que le sirva a otros perros), sin embargo, la comodidad de la mía va por delante.

I ordered a medium for our Kangal dog several months ago and just re-ordered a large to accomodate her for several more months. The first collar was perfect, strong and sturdy.I received the large today. It is longer in material length but the eyelets are placed almost exactly the same as a medium making it automatically only one finger space.Very disappointed in this purchase.To OneTigris, large is just a name, not a size.The OneTigris tag was missing on the large making me suspect it is a fake. Amazon should be more care selling fake products inlieu of the authentic products.
