Transforming Discipleship

Being in the disciplemaking business for five decades, imagine my surprise when I learned a lot! I especially liked how to truly make disciples in a church setting. Brilliant!

This book voices so many thoughts I've had and offers an awesome solution: very small groups walking toward Jesus together. Great Biblical perspective, thought-provoking but not a challenging read. A bunch of our friends have now started triads. My husband is a month into his and already seeing fruit, and mine starts this week! We're using Ogden's Discipleship Essentials book as our curriculum and its worked really well so far for my friends whose groups have started. Can't recommend this book and that resource enough.

This is truly a transforming book in the area of discipleship...I highly recommend taking the time to read it

Greg Ogden's material has been pinnacle to the growth and depth of our new church in SW FL. The book Transforming Discipleship is the backbone for church leaders desiring to shift from a 'Sunday Show" or "Programmed Church" to a REAL LIFE discipleship movement. The primary goal of the Church is to make disciples that make disciples and plant churches that plant churches. Ogden's book has been a huge part of our refit, restructure, and the refocus of our church. Enjoy!

This is a book content should be taught and lived out by every new convert as well as long term parishioner in a church community.

This was the single most significant book I have read in the past 6 months! I am someone who diciples men and Greg Ogden is at the top of his game as it relates to authentic biblical discipling. He has captured the essence of a lost art (discipling) that was released by Jesus of Nazareth and recorded in the gospel of Matthew chapter 28 verse 19. ..."Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
