Stays put! Love products that do what they say.
I used this to secure my cowhide rug, which moved every time i even thought of walking on it, despite the fact that it was on a "non slip" rug pad. It would move 2 feet when i put one toe down on it.. With this non slip, extra strong grip pad, it DOES NOT BUDGE AN INCH! And this is on very slippery tile floors. Easy to work with too, doesn't wrinkle up underneath, just lay it out, trim it if needed and leave it, it won't move.

Does what it is supposed to do
We bought this large one to cut down and put under two rugs/mats made of different materials. It worked perfectly for our needs. One of the rugs was a hand made crocheted rug that has always slipped around on our tile floors. Putting this between the rug and the floor completely solved our issues. Works great, easy to cut to size and would highly recommend.

Great purchase for money
We used this under our living room rug where we play fetch with our pup. It helps a lot to minimize rug movement on our bamboo floors. The only time the rug moves is when our dog slides into the side of the rug and the adhesive strip and rug will come up but this is minimal

Amazing for the price!!!
Do not spend more money on similar products...this exceeded my expectations. The reviews on this product were good, but I was undecided because I thought the more expensive rug grippers would be more effective. My sister-in-law paid more for hers and I was hesitant, but went with the less expensive option, as I knew I could return it if I was disappointed. Happy to report that not only was this a perfect choice...but my sister-in-law said she was very surprised that this product worked every bit as good as the expensive brand she went with...yay! Really GREAT product and extremely affordable. I used it on both hardwood & tile.

Wasted my Time with Tape, This is Better
Originally bought tape for my rugs. With kids and animals, that just wasn't going to cut it. This product was great. Bought an oversized piece and cut it down to fit my rugs. Thanks to this product I no longer live in fear of the rug coming out from under me every day.

The pad was not with this item. I cannot rate them together.
I never saw the pad. The rug feels too uncomfortably hard on hardwood floors.

Non skid pad
I bought a runner to put on our tile floors not paying attention to the backing, it was super slippery, my little dogs even scooted on the rug. We needed a non skid pad to go under and this was perfect. No skidding and makes for a safe area to walk through.
