The best chicken broth substitute I’ve found
I’ve tried many different options, but this one is by far the most convincing. At first, I was only looking for something to use in rice pilaf. Since the broth plays a subtle role in that dish, other products came close, but this one was nearly identical to traditional chicken broth. It gave me the confidence to serve it to guests, knowing they would never guess it wasn’t made from real chicken. The flavor is so accurate that I now use it for chickpea noodle soup, my vegan version of chicken noodle soup. Every other product I tested had an “off” taste, but this one is spot on.When it briefly disappeared from the market, I was so disappointed. I’m thrilled that it’s available again.Lately, I’ve even been shredding super firm tofu and sautéing it with this broth base for a fantastic vegan version of shredded chicken. It has completely elevated my cooking.

great flavor without cholesterol
this stuff is awesome! I eat plant based for health, but I really miss meat/poultryI used it to soak soy curls and added pickling spice which made a "corned beef" for St paddys day it was delicious.I purchased some frozen field peas (blackeye peas)while in the south. I came home and simmered them in this broth with onion. OMG it tasted like there was pork in the beans! My next attempt will be collard greens!

Pretty good
First question I got asked by my 15 year old daughter - "does it taste exactly like chicken broth?" The answer is...no. It does not taste EXACTLY like chicken broth, but, it is pretty close, close enough for a vegan to get, and, it is very flavorful. I use this mainly to make "chicken" soup or "chicken" stew. I am going to attempt to make my own vegan chicken and use this to flavor it.As an aside - read the label - twice. Don't do what I did and just glance at it. I read it as two tablespoons. It is not tablespoons, it is teaspoons. I almost died when doing the taste test, I had to add so much more water, and ended up with a ridiculous amount of soup. I already make a ridiculous amount of soup (there are just three of us in my household, I usually make enough for fifteen people), I made enough soup to freeze and last us for the rest of the year. READ THE LABEL.

Taste is great - not too salty!
Very surprised and pleased with this. It tastes like I remember ham (vegan for 25 years now). It is not too salty and worked great in a 15 bean soup recipe. I added a vegan sausage after the soup had cooked for a little added flavor and texture, but it really was great without it. Highly recommend especially if you are vegan.

Excellent Flavor Boost
This broth will take your vegan dishes up a notch with its delicious flavor. It tastes better than the diluted store brand stuff I used to buy. It is also far more convenient, cost effective, and less packaging waste. 10/10 for me.
