It took me a while to understand how to stabilize the upper part. I'm still not sure why the feeders are designed to be collapsible and expandable, but I received a very polite message from the company with an opportunity to communicate my frustration. I really appreciated that. Customer service matters! What I really like about the feeders is their small size and "stations" that encourage small birds and don't allow larger ones to light.

Seems better suited to varied seeds (hulled sunflower vs non-hulled) than the tube type. Better rain protection too.

You'll get one box, but don't worry; both feeders are in this box. I ordered shepherd poles, but easy to hang on whatever. I'll admit not using as bird feeders. I block feeder outlets and drill a few tiny holes and fill with animal repell granulates to keep them out of the rain and animals out of my yard. Einstein idea, hun?

Not the Ferrari of bird feeders, but frankly I just bought these so my cat would have something to keep him occupied when we're not interacting with him. Birds go bananas over it, but I don't think they're picky as long as it's free food. Only complaints are that the lid detaches too easily (not a big deal) and if it rains, the birdseed gets wet and stops flowing, then it just turns into a clump at the bottom and I have to dump the whole thing out and scrape out the inside. It's hard to complain though for under $20.

Feeders work well. Squirrels & raccoons can’t open. Very easy to clean. Hold up well in a light wind. Would definitely buy again

Overall the feeders have held up well. They hold a good amount and work with multiple types of feed.Only complaint is that they like to colapse on their own. I solved this by using super glue to hold them in the extended position.

They were smaller than expected but expand upward into a reasonably sized feeder. Sometimes one would collapse unexpectedly but it's not a real issue because I just hung it up and the birds found it on their own. The birds are happy with it.

My wife feeds the birds a lot and these two feeders seem to get the job done. They are inexpensive but will probably last as long as all the other feeders we have had in the past. You just have to replace them every so often.
