Wire gauge and contact area of the pins is too small. If very many are used in an installation, like between cabinet sections, excessive voltage drop will be experienced. This caused the LED's at the end of the run to be much dimmer than those near the feed end. Otherwise, the connectors were easy to install and take apart when needed.

These are just what I need for my shed lighting project! Attaching strip lights cut to length for the bottom of the joists and rafters, these will allow simple 12VDC wiring of all the strips, and so many point of light sources fill the space very nicely with little shadow. I cut these in half to attach to the ends of the strip lights and wire them to the 12V source as a 'daisy chain'.

I used these to finish my under cabinet lighting project. No matter how much i tried, the lights would flicker without soldering. A soldering kit cost me $7-8 and a few youtube videos later, i managed to solder the lights and i got my under cabinet lights for under $35

As with a few other reviews these do not have good connection at all, even when they are perfectly lined up ie neg on neg pos on pos. After measuring with a multimeter and expecting 12VDC on output best I could get was around 1.0VDC not nearly enough to light the connected strip. The locks wear out after 3+ attempts to connect the strips making it utterly unusable (which they are anyway). Going to solder the connections instead and I would recommend anyone else to do the same if you want it to work reliably... or at all.

These worked well for what I wanted to do, I had to insert the power in the middle of the light strip so I cut these in two and added a plug to the end, worked great! Just watch the +.- as I had to wire them backward in my installation because I cut them.

Worked well enough for the job with no issue. Easy to open and easy to clip shut. A couple needed a little effort but not a bad experience with them. Decent wire. Flexible without being cheap feeling.

These are well made and would work well for clipping LED strip lights without waterproof coatings together with ease.

These connectors do not fit the waterproof LED strip lights. The waterproofing is too thick to allow the connectors to close and make contact.
