I give this extractor 5 stars not for its build quality, not for its design or features. I give it 5 stars because it gets the job done for a fraction of the price of the pro extractors. I have purchased 3 of these vacmasters extractors. The first one I bought was about 7 years ago and it had a better design and build quality than these new models. The new are not as good as the first model. I don't like the battery powered remote. The water pump that spray the water out is not as strong as the first model and the spray nozzle are very cheap and placed in the wrong spot. The handle is bulky and not that easy to maneuver. It's definitely cheaply made however. It has a strong suction motor. The vacuum works like a champ it has a ton of attachments that allow you to do sofas and house carpes. But like I said the 5 star is because it gets the job done and it cost less that 20% of a professional extractor. I have purchased 3 of them in the past 7 years. I used them every day vigorously. If you keep the filters in and cleaned the motor will last for years. I just bought my third one and I'm waiting on it's arrival. The second just stopped working about 4 days ago. When I say stopped working I mean the motor stopped powering on it could just be a switch but they are so cheap and I have used it for 3 or 4 years I'm not going to waste a second trying to fix it. They are cheap but they look good to the customers. When the customer ask do I have an extractor to shampoo seats I say yes of course. Not a single customer complained.

It's a real good vacuum it's motor is quite powerfull making it's suction power superb. Using it for a few months there are just a few positive and negative. Positive: 8 gallon size is just right not too bulky and not too small. Powerful motor, and so suction is great! Various attachments makes it ideal. Built is very durable, can take rigorous use without breaking. Negative: The wet vacuum aspect needs a tiny 9 volt battery sparete from the supplied power, when it goes dead or the first time you have to remember that's it's there otherwise you might want to return it saying it stopped working. The hose that carries the chemicals to spray breaks easily, so right now that feature is not working for me. The drain plug is way above the base, so it's almost impossible to drain all the water after sucking up liquid.

Overall, my experience with this vacuum cleaner has been nothing short of disappointing. I had high hopes for a versatile and efficient cleaning solution, but instead, I received a faulty product that falls far short of its promises. I am deeply dissatisfied with both the quality of the product and the level of support provided by Amazon in addressing these issues Not only did the Vacmaster VK609PFR 0201 6 Gallon 5.5 Peak HP 3-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner fail to meet expectations, but the customer service experience with Amazon was equally disappointing. Throughout my attempts to address the issues with the product, I encountered rude and unhelpful representatives who consistently closed the chat before any resolution could be reached. This lack of professionalism only added to the frustration of dealing with a malfunctioning product. Overall, the combination of poor product quality and unsatisfactory customer service has left me thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience.

Don't forget when you click the power on button you must touch the touchpad the second bottom that says vacuum or will not power on that is located on the canister not on the lid right below the big yellow power button. You have to click the top big yellow button and push the touch button that looks like microwave touchpad or it won't power on. You don't need to put the battery in the hose compartment if you're only going to use it for a vacuum. If you're going to shampoo that's when you need to put the battery in the little compartment in the handle at the end of the hose. Amazon does sell 8 or 10 pack for under $10 on Amazon compatible replacement batteries. I think the seller of all products in all stores if they are not going to sell any accessories or replacement parts or batteries they need to supply a link to where you can find them on Amazon or sell them themselves. First off it was my mistake on the handle not fitting. It fits. It a case of no glasses on and looking at the wrong side of where it should have been screwed in. Great handle, very strong! My second problem unlike most wet-vacs. I thought it was dead because switching the big yellow button on did not power on the vacuum. There's extra touch buttons like a microwave right underneath the big yellow power button if you touch push the top one it's the shampooer don't do that you'll burn the motor out cuz there's no water in the machine. The first button is for the shampooer which I think they made a mistake they should have put the one you used more frequent the vacuum at the top and the shampooer at the bottom. Maybe the manufacturers did it that way because most buy it for the wet vac and not as a vacuum. I can't imagine anybody after buying this machine wanting to ever buy a vacuum unless it's a Dyson because this is the most powerful wet vac as a vacuum I've ever seen or used. Make sure you always push the lower button which is the vacuum when you push that then you can use it as a vacuum but not with just the yellow power switch on itself. At first you will think the vacuum motor is dead. So you only have to remember to use it as a vacuum the big yellow button and then the touch button that's like a microwave below it which is the bottom one is the vacuum the panel does not light up like the instructions say for you to actually see the writing better, so just remember it's the bottom ones the vacuum. I was super duper stressed until I learned all this. I didn't know after you click the power on the main vacuum you had to press the touch button on the vacuum under the power on main button as well or the vacuum won't run. Myself, I would not be using it for a shampooer but once a year in home. Some may want to use it for their cars and vans. 8 I just happened to have a phillips screw driver to to screw the roller wheels on the bottom and the handle on the top to lift it. At this price I think they should supply one. The cord is super long!!! I've not read how long but it has to be 15 plus feet. The hose is good quality for today how they make them. It is also long. I took the white tank off the back and wrapped up half the electical power cord and laid it in the basket at the back where the shampoo solution tank normally would go. Doing that makes for you not to drag all that very long extra cord I don't need in a small 10 x12 bedroom I vacuum every day. It is a a beast, about 34 pounds in weight. GREAT SUCTION!! So far so good. So having the box damaged with a reboxing of it to hide the hole in the original box the machine comes in worried me so much. I didn't see the whole in the original box until I took off the outter box that had no damage. I didn't like the fact it was hidden in another box. It made me worry it would not work. So having not known the power button how it worked made me panic so bad that the damaged box did damage to the machine. With all this combination was stressful. In the end it works like it should. You won't regret buying this machine as long as it all works out and funtions properly for you. I will do an update next week once I try the shampooer part to make sure that part works as well. I'm sorry to the seller and Amazon for my last review. It does work after all. Also for those that may not know if this is manual labor for vacuuming it's not Auto pull you or so I find it hard to push forward cuz I'm old and don't have the greatest back for vacuuming but I just pulled back when I'm vacuuming only because it is manual labor it's not an electric of course. I bought it for the vacuum not the shampooer I can't believe the suction on this thing. I live in an apartment so I waited until after 11:00 to use it because I was worried it would be noisy and wake up my neighbors that maybe sleeping so I thought I won't use it until after 11:00 in the morning and never after 8:00 at night I have to laugh at myself because it's very quiet it's no louder than then my upright beater bar one that I have this vacuum actually it's a quieter. I've used it six times and I have to back off the suction switch open it up because it's too powerful if I don't stand on my heavy mats it will want to lift it up in the air. The air wattage is 230 more than the average high-end vacuum the horsepower is 5.5 super duper suction.
