Animal Handling Gloves Bite Proof with 40inch Collapsible Snake Hook,Suitable for Falcon Dog Cat Bird Reptile Snake

I do see some snakes popped up once in a while in my backyard so this is something I am looking for just in case. I was a little wary about the fitting of gloves in the beginning since it has only one "medium" size available but it fits me nicely, I am 5'8" with average hand size. The quality of the gloves is pretty good for home use but the hook is on the lighter duty side which is a little flimsy when extended fully. The hook is good for small snakes but I would still use long wooden sticks for bigger snakes if I see one.

Both items feel very durable! Excited to try them out! They fit snug so if you have big upper arms you should go with something else. Great value for the amount of money it is. I was skeptical about the hook being “cheap” and easily broken - however I was completely wrong! The hook is very durable and wide enough for my two snakes! Would definitely buy again!

The gloves fit perfectly, they are made of great quality material which is definitely bite proof and as well helps with claws. They protected the user from the feral cat's attacks. The cat's bites and scratches could not go through the gloves. When they bite I don’t feel it just slight pressure from the bite. Makes handling them so much easier. The snake hook is easy to extend, lightweight, and easy to store. Works great for smaller snakes, I keep it for possible snakes in the yard, all in all, I got two useful things at this price, very good value.

Heavy duty. I dont think any critter out there is penetrating these.

The gloves are great work well for my iguanas would not trust them in taking a bite from a gaboon viper. They work great for my purposes of handling lizards with sharp claws. Snake hook is garbage.

I Liked the protection the gloves provided. They are fairly stiff. My hands can’t really grasp any of my ball pythons, but I would recommend the gloves. However The hook is very flimsy. It’s not as sturdy as I had thought it was going to be.

I got these for my Red Tail Boa, as he's gotten a bit of an attitude as he's grown. The hook is nice and light, and had no rough/jagged spots in the finish, which is great, because one small defect could injure your pet. It worked just fine, and he took to it quite well. The Gloves do their job of absorbing the bite, at least from a 4ft male Boa. They are kind of cumbersome in the palm/finger areas, but it's to be expected with the thickness of them. Once you wear them and flex your hand in them enough, they loosen up enough to be workable. Having these makes life so much easier when you're either skittish around snakes, or know to expect a strike. They go all the way up the forearm and above the elbow, so no worries about getting caught unprepared. They do the job they were made for, and seem to be holding up quite well.
