The tool is very easy to use and managed to repair a simple repair on my caravan.

Having had a look at the price of replacement drawers for my freezer (£80) i thought it was time to buy one of these which i have seen loads of videos on recently.Easy to use and having loaded the drawers up they feel as strong as new! I mean....its not pretty but its functional and won't be seen. Pretty sure i will find some spradic uses for this tool in future.Few tips are don't bother with the side cutters, they dont cut anywhere near close enough(see pic 3). Let the plastic cool fully and just snap the staple ends. I found it easier to bend the staples outwards a little and this means they won't fall out of the gun.

I had some broken plastics motorbike fairings. Seen this advertised so decided to give it a go in conjunction with fibre glass and resin. Arrived well packaged and in its own plastic case, which is sturdy enough and can keep stored safely. It comes with a good range of hot staples and plenty of them. The gun itself is of decent quality the trigger is easy to use and the gun gets Very hot very quickly which is great as you are not trying to hold parts together while your waiting for the thing to heat up. Word of caution have a few goes on a sample so you can judge how much pressure to put on,otherwise you can go straight through the plastic. When using it only takes couple of seconds let go of trigger and give second to cool and give slight twist and pull gun away leaving staple behind. Brilliant bit of kit worth the money in my opinion saved me a fortune on having to buy new fairings etc used on various things and still going strong. I use fibre glass to reinforce weld just to be on safe side but don't think it is necessary just me.

I was very reluctant to melt metal staples into the plastic of a badly cracked motorbike pannier, but after failing to glue it (polypropylene + awkward position), I tried this as a last resort. I should have tried it first. It was extremely easy to use and worked extremely well – the large crack that affectied the pannier’s structural integrity was firmly and effectively closed within a few minutes.The repair wasn’t the most attractive, but smoothing the melted plastic scars with another flat staple improved it quite a bit (and I think if I had to make another repair, I’d make a much better job of it second time around). A simple and effective fix for tricky plastic repairs.

great tool easy to use , makes strong bonds is a godsend saving me having to replace broken drawers in my freezer . repaired so many bits now . really impressed

I bought this plastic welder to fix a broken leg of a cloth airer. The use was simple and it worked extremely well. I don’t know how long it may last but for £16 I’ve fixed something much valuable.

You have to get the right type of plastic, some work well, some are rubbish. The snips they provide to cut the ends of the staples.... won't cut me toenails

Funciona realmente bien, y calienta con mucha rapidez. El led no tiene ninguna utilidad, ya que prácticamente ni se aprecia, y los alicates de corte que incluye, no son los mejores, ya que cuesta cortar las grapas, y más hacerlo a ras del plástico, pero por lo demás genial
