We were going to hire someone to build it but when we got started we realized we could do it ourselves. We have yet to put the wpod pieces on top but looks great even without. We did order sealant to preserve the wood and stain. Some boards were bent but still went together pretty well. The only concern we have is that the outlet box came with warning to only be used for 90 days and to hardwire if using longer. We would not be hard wiring as its not necessary so the outlet box was misleading in description. To have hard wired would cost too much. We will just use extension cord as we always have instead and will throw the provided outlet box away. Also loved the 3d instruction app for certain steps towards the end.

I bought it 2 years ago, and finally got it up today! (Long story) It sat in the boxes in my garage. My take is, yes, the wood was bowed a bit, but nothing severe. Yes, the posts are hollow, but are still strong. Yes, the pre drilled hole did not line up well at all. Luckily, 2 of my siblings are carpenters and worked around these errors well, and the job was done in around 7+ hours. I am happy with the results, but my siblings had a few negative comments throughout. Not pleased with the lack of proper line up and such. Still, I'm glad it's finally up and looks great to me!

The media could not be loaded. I was scared to purchase because it was not any reviews. I buy on reviews!! But this time I said let me just gamble my money..lol and try it!!! You guys I won! Easy to assemble, me and my husband did this in 5-7 hours. We took drink breaks in 100 degree weather. We were determined. But the App BUILT is assemble for DUmmies. I love it!!! It showed /talked every step in detail. The cedar wood is super heavy and sturdy. This was the best purchase by far!!

Was disappointed and returned as it was not solid all the way through. Also delivery company took forever to pickup and even forgot it for 2 weeks after they advised to put outside.

Very pleased with this product. Good quality. Already stained. The post are not solid but I don’t see that it would be necessary. Easy assembly with two people. Plan to dry it in with clear corrugated top.

Omg I bought this when it was on special for $1100 - brand new. I cannot believe what a great value. Yes the outer main posts are hollow but they are HEAVY DUTY and thick THICK wood so don’t let that dissuade you. Don’t make the same mistake I made and build this upside down and assume you can flip it. No! Its very heavy. Build as instructed right side up. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because the final slats that go on top were poorly aligned. The holes didn’t match up correctly so for many I had to drill next to the pre-drilled holes so they could be fastened right. The good news is you cannot see that on top. So this was also not a big deal. I’m THRILLED I got this as such a great price!!!!!!

Literally built it with my 13 yr old daughter in about 7 hours 👍🏾 it’s sturdy and looks great!
