Thought it worked great...until it didn't. I bought this six months ago, tested when I was at normal temperature with some variances, but it seemed minor. However, when I was running a fever, the readings were all over the place, 98.4, 101.4, 100.3, 99.8 and everything in between...and that was from just the forehead area and some of the different readings were from the same location. Further investigation suggests to take an average of the readings...seriously?!?! When I have 98.4 and 101.4...that's a pretty big gap to average. Now, it's too late to return so I'm out the money and going back to an oral digital thermometer.

After fight regular themometer for years with our children, my wife and I decided to get one of these to use for our grandchildren. It's so much easier and comfortable for them. The themometer is very light weight. The grip is comfortable in your hand. There is a nice large digital display on this themometer. The instructions are very helpful and easy to follow. Great themometer.

Being in the medical field I absolutely love this product because it's so easy to use and gives you great accurate results. All you need to do is literally just aim at the forehead and you don't even have to contact the person. This helps prevent spread of infection. The thing I really like about this thermometer is the fact that is a very nice grip and a very nice LCD display so it's pretty easy to read.This is a very high quality product that gives accurate measurements and what I love about it is the fact that the manufacturer will stand by the product.

We play with this like a toy. I use it on my forehead and then compare it to my wife and then to the baby. Forehead temperature is not the same as mouth, obviously, but we don't have to fight the child for 5 minutes to take a reading now and the baby loves it as a new toy for herself. Never going back to oral thermometers.

Not good for pets. We scanned our cat throughout a weeks time. He always read in the normal range. He was not well and continued to get worse. We made a vet appointment and again scanned him before going and he was well within the normal range. Took him to the vet and he had a high fever.It may work for people but can't be trusted on animals.

I have no idea where it gets its choosen temps from but it is eratic and inaccurate 100% of the tike! My daughter threw away the box or i would send it back.... by far the worst purchase ever made and btw it is not even fda approved! If you like to flush money down the toilet buy this crap if not pass it up! I would give it zero stars if i could!

Worked well at first. Kids enjoyed the noninvasive screening. However after a month of usage, it stopped reading properly even with batteries being changed. My mom bought the same one for her job and she had the same issue.

Haven't had to use it that much but the few times we have it worked great.Easy to use. Don't have to worry about if I have the thermometer right under the tongue.
