What gauge wire in used in this adapter? I need as high fidelity as possible, thicker than 18g. Thanks Chuck

I have not stripped the insulation off the wire to get an accurate measurement but the diameter including insulation is 0.125 inches.

What is the gauge of this wire? Can it be used for speaker wire?

Not sure exactly, I would say 20 gauge. I used these as pigtails from my 16 ga. speaker wires to Sonos port. They are tinned and I used blue wire nuts. I believe they were perfect for the application.
