Great Saint Patrick's Day gift!
My joke. These are 'sham' rocks! They look like rocks, but are not rocks. And because they are very handy to hide a key in people love to get them!

Hidden treasure
After the purchase of the hidden rocks with a sliding door - both broke quickly, this is a much better find. Blends easily with the rock wall outside and keeps the key safe and dry. Would recommend.

It Works (If you Squint)
I think the rock is pretty fake looking, but it's easy to use. If you have it in an area where it will blend in with the surroundings, it should be fine. I wouldn't place it near the door the key unlocks - it would be a beacon for would-be thieves. Otherwise, it's fine.

Awesome
Great little tool that mixes in well with the rocks we have in the front door already. Really good to hide keys in.

A safe key hiding place
Small, convenient, easy to open and shut, water and sand proof. Although these small, inexpensive fake rocks look like any other other rock, they're a perfect hiding place for spare keys outside. In my household we're known for misplacing keys. Sometimes temporarily, often permanently. Our house is on a 2 1/2 acre fenced lot without neighbors in the High Desert and have 4 outside gates we lock for security at night or when not at home. It's been very convenient to place a rock by each gate alongside all the other rocks already there knowing if we get to a gate and need to go out we don't have to walk back to open the gate. These sold in pairs are the most economical I found since others are the same price for just one. I prefer the snap opening to the ones that slide on hinges - at least for my hands they're much easier to manage. I did have to find other black or charcoal rocks on my property to place alongside them because this being the desert the majority of rocks are sand or brown colored. But that's such a small matter. I'm happy with them and am giving them as gifts to neighbors as well as buying more to keep outside the gates and the front door.

It's OK.
Not sturdy as I thought it would be.

Pretty good camouflage
If you place this "rock" among similarly colored ones, or tuck it under a plant, it looks realistic enough to fool anyone who doesn't actually pick it up. The little plastic door slides in and out very easily, and the key compartment is big enough for multiple keys. The way it sits, it should keep anything inside dry. I gifted the second one to my neighbor.

Easy to camouflage
Blends right in and easy to use. No one knows it's there. Insects can't get inside and sturdy enough that the lawn mower doesn't chew it up.
