Chalk Holder 3-Pack

I really like these chalk holders, but you need to have the right chalk width for them to work properly. These fit the fat sidewalk chalk, not regular thin chalk like teachers use to have for chalkboards. There are two purposes for these chalk holders, in my opinion. The first one is to contain the amount of chalk residue that ends up on your hands. The other is to prolong the life of the piece of chalk. As the chalk is used, it gets shorter. It works great for not having hands come into direct contact with chalk, but it does not work with pieces that are not thick enough for the plastic sleeve to fit on & grip the piece of inserted chalk. If the chalk is not thick enough, the chalk just slips through the grip of the chalk holder. I feel that if the plastic gripper were to have teeth instead of a smooth rounded grip that it would work better & possibly meet my expectations & purpose.

1 out of the 3 doesn’t hold. They look just like the ones I bought from Amazon by a very known brand but these are not as good as those (for sure)!

Do not hold standard chalk.

Only works with the round chalk ,the ones that taper in size..

Did not work with the Crayola toddler talk that I have. It is the standard chunky chocolate for little kids and it falls right out of the holder

Of the 3 holders, one was broken. Otherwise good
