This is just a fantastic little reference book which is jam packed with information. It includes color pics of the tartan of the clans, a brief history on the clan ~two pages on each, one on the tartan, one on the clan~ just so much info packed into one little book it's a must have. I've already found myself reaching for it repeatedly in researching all my different Scot roots. The layout is by clan name and alphabetical which is perfect for finding just what you're looking for without thumbing through pages and pages. For myself, I've been able to use the info I've learned in this book to gain a better picture of my ancestors lives and pick up info to go forward in my search.

Un ouvrage de référence pour ceux qui comme moi sont intéressés par l'Ecosse mais surtout pratiquent la peinture de figurines historiques. Les planches permettent un rendu précis des kilts et autres vêtements des régiments écossais.
