Sarson's - Malt Vinegar - 250ml

In my opinion, this is the best malt vinegar (and I have tried all brands available in my area, none compare to this). I could literally drink this. I only can stomach certain fries, like the thicker cuts, if I have some malt vinegar, especially Sarsons...of course you can use it on fish too...really anything fried that the average American would reach for katsup, I would recommend trying with this malt vinegar, it is very versatile. It seems to neutralize some of the grease in fried foods. I realize that preference for malt vinegar is probably an acquired taste, and perhaps I love it because that's what we used when I was very young. Or perhaps everyone's consuming vinegar and blissfully unaware...read the labels for the typical condiments like katsup, mustard, BBQ sauce, cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, hot sauce -- most of them have a lot of vinegar! I think Sarsons is the best quality malt vinegar. Very fresh with a distinctive, rich flavor. For an imported product, it's a good price, and a little goes a long way. I am only ordering it from Amazon because it's that good, and I have trouble sourcing it locally (but when I do get lucky enough to find it in a store, I buy all on the shelf to stock up). Sadly, my bottle arrived bubblewrapped but with broken lid and leaking product. Be aware Amazon won't allow return on this product. Thankfully customer service resolved the issue and I will reorder a replacement soon.

If you eat fish, you have to have more vinegar. I’m English taste great great price.

Tastes good on double fried chips. I use it on Walmart flavored French frie chips. 2 minutes at 300F then 2 minutes at 375F. Really nice and crispy outside and soft and done inside. No limp crap for me.

The bottle was broken upon delivery soaking the delivery box and other purchased items in vinegar. I don’t see a way to get a replacement since there is no return.

I didn't intend for this to be an emotional review, yet I can't help but express how this delightful product exceeded my expectations. My gratitude is immense, and without a doubt, I would make this purchase again!

I wasn’t expecting to notice any difference between malt vinegars until someone introduced me to Sarsons. What a surprise to find this is so good. I understand this is much loved by the fish and chip aficionados of Northern England. No wonder. Now it goes on my chips too!

Without a doubt the very best malt vinegar in the world. It’s the only one I ever buy.
