Universal Replacement Remote Control Fit for AVR-4806 AVR-1705 AVR-1802 AVR-1601 AVR-2506 AVR-2801 for Denon A/V AV Receiver

I only needed a remote to get into setup mode on this old receiver I got from my Dad's house years ago. This remote fit the bill. Plus it was priced right and was in my hands a few days later

This remote is good for the simple basic operations of the receiver but does not have the all the functionalities of the original remote and has buttons that does nothing when used with my receiver.

Controls most major features, however it doesn't seem to be model specific. It did not come with batteries, but it does work well, it arrived faster than expected and appears to be a good value for the money.

Finally, an affordable remote control! I got a Denon receiver from a friend who bought it on Craigslist, and it did not come with a remote. The buttons are a little funny on the receiver but it's otherwise in great condition and works very well. Remotes on eBay were more than $80, and that's just way more than I wanted to spend to not have to walk across the room.That said, my specific model (the AVR-1802) is older than the functions on the remote. I specifically got this receiver from him because I have an older turntable and wanted the preamp/ground wire functions of the receiver, but there's no phono button or one that I've figured out how to reprogram to function as such. It has other buttons in its place that don't correspond to anything on mine. Not a huge deal, as I have to get up to put on the record, but I hoped it'd correspond more exactly.

I bought this as a replacement for the original AVR-4806. This remote does not have a source button for the TV, it doesn’t have any buttons that control Zone 2 or 3. These are the buttons that wore out on the original remote.

This remote was purchased specifically to adjust the base on my Denon receiver.. It arrived with no instructions on how to pair the two together. I was able to get the volume/power to work, but still can’t figure the base out. Emails to the company were not returned and I have no other way to contact someone for help.

I bought the receiver on ebay & it didn't come with a remote. This one seems to work like the factory version, but the device is complicated and a manual (available online) is necessary to set everything up. No fault of the remote.

Old original one died. Found this at a really good price. Nice!
