Q: How do I stop the buckle cover from coming off?

That’s a good question! That’s the only thing I don’t like about this car seat. It needs to be attachable and it’s not.

Yes! It rotates both sides and we have had it on both sides of the car with no problems. Love it so far.

Q: Can you use the latch and the seatbelt for installation or do you do one or the other

For a rear-facing child, install City Turn with lower LATCH anchors OR seatbelt but never both systems together. Pick one or the other and follow instructions on using the RapidLock lockoff. For a forward-facing child, install using lower LATCH anchors plus top tether *or* seatbelt plus top tether. When forward-facing, use the top tether for either installation method but never use lower LATCH anchors and seatbelt simultaneously. FYI - once your child weighs more than 35 lbs. when rear-facing, or more than 40 lbs. when forward-facing, you are required to use seatbelt to install because the child is over the LATCH weight limit for this seat. If you install with seatbelt, it's just one less thing to worry about. If you install with lower LATCH anchors, be aware when your child is approaching the LATCH weight limits.

Q: Does this rotate from forward facing or just rear?

It only rotates 45 degrees in either direction. So if it is rear facing you can either rotate towards the door or the middle of the car. If you want the seat to face forward you have to take it out and install it that way. Forward facing it will rotate towards the door or the middle of the car.
