Love the Colors! These are Sheer!
To start I own 5 other pairs of these in the darker colors and they are true to size after 1 or 2 wears.I have the navy, cobalt blue, dark purple and cherry red, and dusty pink colors in these shorts so far. They are my absolute favorite gym shorts. I have never owned the alphalete shorts to compare and probably never will due to all the horror stories. I am glute heavy and everyone I know has a scrunch rip on them in the gym at some point with the alphaletes. That's a no for me friends. I can honestly say I loved these better than gymshark and all the gymshark and NVGTN dupes out there. They are soft, super stretchy and not hot at all (which I find all the GS shorts to be stiff and hot, NVGTN are nice but sizing is always tricky).I really wanted some summer colors, have watched tons of tiktok reviews as well as went through all the reviews with photos here on amazon. I decided to go with my original size first in my original order. I would like to note I'm latina, with thicck thighs and I am glute heavy. These were too sheer in every colorway I bought (I have the blue, green and orange). I think my thighs and my glutes definitely played there part in making them more sheer than they would be on a less curvy body type. I would say they were like 35% squat proof. Definitely not leg day appropriate (I wouldn't even bend down in these in the gym on an arm day lol). I have tanned, bronze skin so I can get away with most sheer gym shorts that are at least 60% squat proof usually (I am also a commando gyms shorts girl, because I HATE underwear lines). I returned all 3 colorways and order a size up. The light blue was the most sheer on me in my original size with orange and green not far behind. In the size up I would say these are now up to my 60% squat proof margin when adjusted correctly (I scrunch up the leg length and pull all excess fabric in the crotch area back towards my glutes and the squat so all the material gathers between my cheeks) This is what makes the shorts just look slightly opaque when I squat in them. I would now wear them all leg day no problem. Couple of notes: the waist on the size up feels relatively the same compression as my original size large (45" hips, 32" waist, 5'8 for ref), the lower tummy region, legs and glutes all have a ton of extra fabric. I had a ridiculous amount to readjust and move around. The scrunch now sits a bit higher than the top of my glutes (fine for me because I can fiddle to get where I need it). Lastly, the thighs fit so much better! My size larges are always rolling up, I hate it! However the waist, butt scrunch and amount of material is just better on the large for me.To conclude do these ONLY IF your good with about 60% squat proof, go commando or have a seamless thong the exact color of your skin, have a darker skin complexion (will hide the sheerness rather than highlight it) and your willing to size up and deal with extra material. If you're not good with them appearing opaque (the colors of the waist band are much richer and will highlight that these can be sheer) then I would skip on these and get the darker alternatives. The least sheer on my skin tone so far was orange (probably because I'm brown so I can hide it better). The green is doable but pushing it and I haven't received the blue yet in the new size but I think it wont be too bad.PS: THESE WILL HIGHLIGHT ALL THE CELLULITE, BUMPS AND DIMPLES YOU HAVE! I don't struggle with this but when doing a couple exercises in the mirror it was the first thing I noticed.I hope this extremely long review will help!

Size Up, Bright Colors are NOT squat proof
I saw a comment about the brand raising prices so I'm just here to document I bought a pair for $32.If you are trying to get that TikTok influencer booty, you need to size up so you have enough material to work with. Trust me, there is not a lot of difference between a medium and a large when it's compression style material. If you buy smaller, then the material will already be tight across the booty so you won't get the full affect of the scrunch.I bought the pink and it is NOT squat proof. Other listings of this product stated this fact, so I'm purchasing again in a darker color. I love love love the material and it didn't ride up while running errands or going for a walk. I also don't have sausage thighs because of how they do the seams.

Pretty much Alphalete shorts!!
Absolutely in love with these. These are EXACTLY the same as Alphalete shorts, except these are more affordable. I actually think they are more comfortable than Alphalete.I compared them this morning before heading to the gym my Alphalete amplify shorts with the one I bought from this brand. 100% identical, except this brand is more comfortable and stretchy. I find that with alphalete, the waist band kind of slips down from my waist. While these stayed up no problemFor size reference: I purchased a smallHeight: 5'2 1/2Waist: 25"Weight: 112lbsI also have a short torso. I saw one review saying that these shorts aren't good for short torsos because it makes it look like we don't really have a waist. But personally I don't really mind it because they're high waistedI also saw a review about how these shorts had pillowing after one wear. However, my Alphalete shorts have a quite a bit of pillowing after a couple uses.In terms of quality and value, these are definitely much more affordable and great. Will purchase more, I just wish they came in more colors!

Cute but rides up and does not flatter the muffin top
I really like the way that these make the booty look, but as far as hiding the muffin top above- not so good. If you’ve got love handles, because these are black, I think they are just fine to wear with a cropped top. However, if you don’t want to highlight the muffin top, I would NOT buy a different color. I learned from experience, it is very accurate that black makes you appear slimmer. The waistband is a little tight, which adds to the appearance of love handles, but the scrunch is nice and flattering. These shorts also ride up a little bit on the thighs which isn’t my favorite, but it’s not constant enough to trash the shorts.

Most Comfy Gym Shorts EVER
After what seemed like a never ending search for the "perfect" pair of gym shorts I think I've finally found my favorite. They are extremely stretchy which makes them very comfortable especially as someone with thicker thighs. The color is spot on (and gorgeous) and the little booty scrunch is just enough for a little definition. I've never had seamless gym shorts before and boy was I missing out cause it's a game changer. The only thing I wish was different is the waistband (it's incredibly comfy) but it just doesn't hit my waist like I would like it too. Regardless, I will for sure be adding these to my Christmas wish list.

Love these!
These are definitely an alphalete date. The only difference I'd give the two is the scrunch is less prominent/less scrunched then alphalete. Definitely more comfortable but just putting that out there. The material is slightly thinner but still very structured and sucks you in. Definitely recommend especially for price, colors and availability!!Im 5ft 4, 145 lbs and my measurements are 26 waist, 38 hips and 40 butt. I wear a medium because my thighs are big (21 ) and they are still compressive around my waist but in a good way.

Do not buy these
I ordered these after hoping some of the negative reviews were just minor but no they are right. I ordered black expecting the scrunch at the back which is the main point of these and they don’t have it, they have not even the name of the brand on the back like the photos. I thought maybe these would be an affordable amplify dupe like they are talked about to be but no I still wouldn’t order amplify cause the price but go with another reputable brand that you’ve used. All these random fitness athleisure brands starting up are just literally all ordering from the same supplier and slapping their brand on it but these didn’t even do that. They are literally plain seamless shorts that I would wear under a dress. The compression is ok at the stomach but the back above where the scrunch should be is completely transparent. These are so not worth the price or the hype. I even contacted the brand on tiktoc to have more accountability for their Amazon partnership because clearly these were taken out of the warehouse without even being looked at and sent to me.I did contact the seller so I will update with what happens. But do not buy these even for a budget or to have an amplify dupe because these are not it. Maybe if you order from the actual brands website which is still meh you might get lucky and get the proper shorts but do not buy from the Amazon supplier because they are shipped from China and I can literally buy the same thing for 8 bucks from shein. I’m just disappointed because I waited a month and the wrong ones show up at my door, and no it wasn’t an error on my part for selection they legit sent the wrong ones.DO NOT BUY you have been warned lol

The best gym shorts !!
I am obsessed!! I was hesitant because the reviews are 50/50. The material is soft, they are squat proof (the black ones at least), and they make your butt look super good. I ordered a Large which is my usual bottoms size and they fit perfectly! They definitely hug your waist (compressed) so i would recommend going with your true size. The butt scrunch is in the perfect spot. The length is a little long but if you just roll them up a bit, they’re perfect. I got the black and i can’t wait to buy the other colours!!Update: i bought the Sun Dried Tomato colour pair in a size Large and i’m obsessed with the colour! They are so flattering and hug your body nicely. After reading horrible reviews about Alphalete, i’m so glad i found Aurola

See through, Not squat proof
Bought short for lower body days, if you even bend slightly you see through the fabric, so not really wearable in the gym.Sizing chart is accurate,Waist bend could be a bit longer, as it can cut higher in the waist and create more of a square shape instead of round, but it gives good support overall.+: Fabric is soft, color is nice, branding isnt too flashy, shorts lenght are good-: See through, Waistband could be a longer, bum scrunch could be made to macth the color of the fabric better (stands out on darker colours)

Perfection !
The media could not be loaded. Girl just get it!This shorts are by far the best shorts I’ve ever bought. I usually wear xs in shorts and I went for it. It hugs me perfectly at the waist and give me the bum I don’t have . It’s not see through at all! I wore it to the gym and felt like THAT GIRL. I’m on my way to get more colours . 1000/100 recommend these
